As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will:

• Work in a small design/engineering team on a range of sports products

• Assisting in all stages of product research, design and development

• Witnessing products evolve from sketch to mass production

• Getting hands on with iterative prototyping and testing

• Developing technical and software skills

• Demonstrate strong technical skills: CAD - Solidworks preferred, Autodesk/ Rhino is also acceptable

• Reports to the Construction Manager
• To ensure that day to day viaducts erection activities/operations are monitored at an appropriate level
• Plan, organize, supervise, and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing viaduct erection activities
• Perform routine on-site checks and inspections to ensure compliance with authorities’ requirements.
• Liaise with various stakeholders on the safety aspect of any viaduct erection operations
• Generate reports to construction team regularly
• Liaise closely with WSH team to ensure operations comply with safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry; inclusive of 5 years experience in construction and supervision for vehicular structures and road projects (Road / LRT / MRT / Viaduct) is mandatory
• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in the erection of viaduct segments is essential for this position

Responsibilities:

· Conducts risk assessments at project site and recommended measures to minimize and eliminate possible risk to any person

· Work closely with different Section Heads to implement and maintain a high level if safety at the sites

· Establish a strong safety culture within the company to collectively achieve the project safety, health targets

· Ensure all Statutory act and regulations, company safety rules and regulations and code of practice are implemented and complied by all staff

· To maintain and monitor achievement of safety and health working environment

· Implement OSH management

· Manage Safety Audits on site

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Health, Safety) or equivalent

· At least 3 years ‘s relevant working experience as WSHO in Engineering and Construction Industry

· MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and possess ECO certificate

· Good working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001

· Familiar with construction site safety inspections and regulations

· Successful candidates should be dynamic, self -motivated, proactive, and results-oriented

· Good interpersonal skills, excellent team spirit and strong technical competence

• Involve in Site Management.
• Heading a team of site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate works, liaise with clients and consultants. Ensure overall construction progress base on schedule.
• Enforcement of quality control and safe management control.
• Keeping site staff and subcontractors informed on approved materials & latest drawings.
• Coordination of different trades on site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) Engineering.
• Knowledge in residential & commercial building installation works.
• Knowledge in design skills and usage of AutoCAD/ Revit will have added advantage.
• Those familiar with HDB projects will have added advantage.
• Applicants without relevant qualification must have minimum 2 years' experience in similar capacity.
• Training provided for fresh graduates with no experience.
