WHAT YOU CAN DO:

• Supervise Projects and manage Control maintenance programs/schedules
• Provides day to day instrument and electrical engineering support & supervision to power and control systems equipment in a Railway
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Hands-on knowledge in Operating & maintaining ELV systems such as CCTV broadcasting & Card Access.

WHAT WE NEED:

• A degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of field experience in Singapore (Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems)
• Hands on experience as a Project Manager for at least 2 years
• Demonstrable knowledge in troubleshooting issues within the system
• Good understanding of electrical power distribution and protection for low and medium voltages (switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, lighting)
• Able to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Able to work well in a high pressure environment with continuous changes
• Good communication & interpersonal skills & positive attitude

Responsibilities :

• Ensure that all task perform on the shop floor adhere to safety protocols
• Accurately reads and understands engineering drawings and work instructions
• Fabricate quality parts, meeting production schedules and time lines for delivery
• Perform production related or ad hoc duties as assigned by the Foreman or Management
• Setup and operate CNC machine tools to machine parts to required specifications as in drawings
• Take measurement using instruments or gauges and documents quality check
• Marked parts identification, maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• O Level/Nitec in Precision Engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience in Machine Shop
• Understanding of precision engineering drawings
• Knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Supervisor to manage the inventory levels to ensure a healthy stock level for all store items.
• To assist with answering enquiries about price and stock availability of parts as well as coordinate on parts reservation.
• Raise requisition for all items below inventory level.
• Receive and check all incoming materials to store. Match Good Received Note with Purchase Order prior to payment of Invoice by Finance.
• Do issuance of items for workshop colleagues as well as engineers.
• Record all issuance of consumables and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Organize and re-arrange all items in proper boxes.
• Maintain the tidiness of the warehouse at all times.
• Facilitate movements of vehicles and collect parts from other sites.
• Perform loading and unloading of heavy items using forklifts, pallet jacks or any other tools.
• Check and inspect all items before and after loading. Verify quantity, condition and type of items received with purchase or delivery orders.
• Perform overtime when required and do Sunday duty as per scheduled.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels qualifications.
• Prior experience in store/warehouse operations preferred.
• Understand and able to converse in Mandarin since need to liaise closely with Mandarin speaking workshop technicians.
• Possesses Class 3 driving licence.
• Must be able to lift carton boxes/materials of up to 5kg.
• Valid forklift licence will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise between the various disciplines and departments to ensure works are carried out efficiently
• Ensure that the project meets the required specifications and standards
• Study and understand project spec, scope of work and scope of supply
• Assist to ensure that resources arrived are in accordance to the orders and requests raised
• Ensure that the resource allocations for production and project team are on time to ensure construction works can proceed on time
• Monitor and ensure that budgets are updated
• Support all HSE and QA/QC efforts and ensure works are in compliance to such efforts
• Assist in the preparation of reports to update the management on overall outyard activities
• Attend Client & Production Meeting together with Project Managers
• Tracks potential variations for the Projects and to follow up with Commercial
• Monitor progress status of individual Disciplines
• Submits Project Execution Plans for Tender Submission
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 5 years of experiences in Marine Project Management holding the same designation
• Good management and leadership skills
• Have own vehicle to travel to site inspection when needed
• Able to travel overseas for short trip when required

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Handle accounts payable and receivable.
2. Preparation of approval documentation for cheque issuance.
3. Involved in filing duties of delivery order, invoices, etc.
4. Follow up with customers / vendors for payment.

Competence Requirement

• Preferred to have secondary / NTC education level in any discipline.
• Preferably with 1-2 year of administrative and finance duties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
