Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Weld, setup, assemble parts and producing parts as per drawing specification.
2. Guiding and providing operator with basic instruction in performing the weld process.
3. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
4. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
5. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepares cost estimates as required.

- Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off as required.

- Checks the allocation of manpower and productivity. Prepares comparison sheets for quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

- Follow up payments from main contractor/consultant/client.

- Measures and computes values to variations and prepares interim and/or final accounts.

- To provide estimate, computations & work on contractual/technical/project change orders.

- Prepares monthly progress payments to main contractors/consultant/clients.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in Engineering (Electrical)/QS or Project/Construction Management

- Computer literate, Microsoft & CAD

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in English

- With construction and M&E background

- 3 years relevant work experience

- Plays an active role in the project execution to complete the task on time with the optimum utilization of resources.

Electical installation, repair and preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment and power and lighting systems

Able to perform testing of different electrical installations and equipment and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.

Able to handle troubleshooting alone, follow the work order and monitor monthly maintenance for existing equipment.

Carry out the trouble shooting and other additional work requested by the supervisor or site as and when necessary.

Responsible for the full suite of ACMV Quantity Surveyor duties, from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities and sourcing.

• To assist with answering enquiries about price and stock availability of parts as well as coordinate on parts reservation.
• Raise requisition for all items below inventory level.
• Receive and check all incoming materials to store. Match Good Received Note with Purchase Order prior to payment of Invoice by Finance.
• Do issuance of items for workshop colleagues as well as engineers.
• Record all issuance of consumables and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Organize and re-arrange all items in proper boxes.
• Maintain the tidiness of the warehouse at all times.
• Facilitate movements of vehicles and collect parts from other sites.
• Perform loading and unloading of heavy items using forklifts, pallet jacks or any other tools.

Job Requirements
