What Do We Want

• At least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board.
• At least 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering design for building services.
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board.
• Proven experience in a consulting firm with proven track records in major development projects.
• Have knowledge in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit will be added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

• A good degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized University.
• Minimum 3 years and above of working experience in a Civil & Structural consultancy firm. (Engineer with six years and above of working experience will be considered for a senior position.)

Job Scope:

• Gathering End-User requirements & build system functionality.
• Support Frontend & Backend applications running on AWS or on-premises systems.
• Writing code in various languages, like ReactJS, NodeJS programming languages. Also scripting like python & bash scripting.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
• Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools and software (example Wireframe tools, Figma, Photoshop) as a value-added skill.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Technical Manager on current programming tasks.
• Collaborate with other programmers or vendors to design & implement new features on the existing platform.
• Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code.
• Create and document software tools required by other developers.
• Debug or troubleshoot existing source code.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL to support software applications.
• Provide technical support to customers for our software products, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Contribute to technical design documentation.

• Ensure proper coordination with Consultants, Client and Sub-Contractors in resolving all technical issues.

• Ensure all relevant approvals (e.g. samples, drawings) are obtain according to working programme.
• Attends Technical Meetings and Coordination Meetings etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience on technical coordination in construction of relevant work experience in building projects in Singapore
• Basic Understanding of RC/Steel structure Construction
• Proactive coordination with Architectural, Façade and M&E trades on Project
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with client, management and to the team members
• Preferable experience of Precast Concrete Structure works and PBU
• Preferable knowledge for BIM software/Autodesk Revit
