Roles & Responsibilities

1. Review the quality manuals, inspection & test plans
2. Review fabrication and erection procedures
3. Review of welding procedure specification, procedure qualification records, welder and welding operator qualification records
4. Pre-inspection meeting and audit of fabricator facilities/plants
5. Review of material test certificates/records, verify or inspect materials and witness pre-treatment processes
6. Witness the mechanical test conducted by accredited laboratory
7. Witness cutting/edge joint preparations, verify joint geometry and inspect fit-out condition prior to welding
8. Verify that welding processes are carried out in accordance with the approved welding procedures, codes/standards and relevant documents
9. Perform visual inspection and verify dimensional records
10. Select weld joints for testing & witness non-destructive testing and assess all results
11. Witness blasting and galvanising processes
12. Inspect painting and galvanising works
13. Identify & verify completed structural members and witness the handling of these members onto lorry/truck for delivery to site
14. Inspect delivered structural members for damage due to handling and transportation
15. Inspect the assembly of structural members at erection site prior to welding
16. Verify all welding procedures and welder qualification records on erection site
17. Witness procedure trial of stud welding process
18. Inspect all weld & bolt tightening
19. Select weld for testing and witness the erection site NDT
20. Inspect all remaining site painting and witness repairing of all protective treatment works
21. Perform inspection on piping and equipment at refineries and chemical plant
22. Conduct welding procedure qualification test and welder performance test
23. Perform corrosion inspection on steel structures, piping and plant equipment
24. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

1. Minimum NDT Level II Certificates (PT / UT / MT / RT)
2. Minimum. 1-2 years of relevant experiences in Oil and Gas plant
3. Minimum API 510 Certified Pressure Vessel Inspector
4. Minimum API 570 Certified Piping Inspector
5. Minimum CSWIP – 3.2.2 Senior welding Inspector
6. Minimum BGAS – Grade 2 – Painting Inspector
7. Minimum ASNT Radiographic Testing/ Ultrasonic Testing/ Liquid Penetrant Testing/ Magnetic Particle Testing – Level 2
8. Good interpersonnel skills and communication skills
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Handle multiple projects starting from tendering validation, specification, design & validation, customer meeting and approval on the design submission
• Be part of the technical team to execute multiple O&G & Data Center projects simultaneously
• Knowledgeable in power system value chain & well versed with energy automation components functioning, representation, Oil & Gas Solutions, Data Centers etc.
• Well versed with all the communication protocols, such as Modbus RTU & TCP/IP, IEC 61850, etc.
• Well versed with EN 50128 requirements in Transportation and Mobility Segments & SIL system design & engineering
• Extensive working experience with various automation products: PLC/BCU/RTU, Data concentrators, Gateways/Convertors, SCADA/HMI, DCS, Historian
• Competent to understand customer technical specifications, preparation of functional design specification based on SE's offer in line with customers' specifications. Able to handle customer discussions & approvals
• Perform Engineering & Commissioning activity for short-term and long-term deputation
• Handle customer iFAT, FAT, SAT

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Have strong hands-on experience in the design, Engineering, Database configuration, validation & commissioning of O&G solutions, Data Centers projects
• Fully conversant with communication network design, configuration & commissioning, including their latest standards, such as RSTP, MRP, PRP/HSR, Dual Homing etc. Knowledge about Router, Modem & Firewall etc. would be an added advantage
• Able to debate on technology and able to influence other through technical and professional ability
• Strong communication skills as required to frequently interact with foreign partners and customers through the Project life cycle. International project execution experience is an advantage
• Good communication skills and able to coordinate with Client effectively
