Job Duties

• Setup and maintain computer-networking system within the company.
• Diagnose, analyse and troubleshoot systems and networking issues.
• Perform regular back up of important data.
• Administer router, firewall, DNS, database, file, mail and web server.
• Gather requirements for IT equipment, perform IT purchasing, manage IT assets, liaise with vendors or technical support to provide quick solutions to end users as well as maintaining system documentation and assisting in ad-hoc duties.
• Ability to plan and deploy Microsoft suite of product (etc, OS, DB, SPS, Exchange, OCS) is essential

• Assist project team to plan, deploy and commission infrastructure system during their project phase
• Point of contact between customer/facilitate manager/system integrator for infra/system environment
• Plan, Support, Execute and Oversee PGP, System Warranty and Maintenance phase of all delivered project.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers
• Team Lead will be supervising a team of engineers, taking charge of their career growth and technical competencies.
• Review completed tasks to ensure adherence to standards

Skills & Requirements

• At least Diploma in IT-related discipline.
• At least 5 years related working experience in network and system support
• Good knowledge in areas of Linux and Window, MySQL servers, Apache or other web servers and Virtualised environments.
• Knowledge of homogenizes network environment will be advantageous.
• Candidate must possess strong diagnostic, analytic and troubleshoot skill.
• Have experiences in Inter/Intra/Extranet environment.
• Candidate with Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification will be an added advantage.

Job Description & Requirements

Main contractor for LTA project seeking for the above position:-

Alternate Saturday

Roles & Responsibilities:-

· Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives & junior Engineers.

· Responsible for checking/advise of plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations of area are followed correctly.

· Responsible to ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the specifications & budget.

· Responsible for work progress timescales. (In charge area)

· Supervising of project crews.

· Coordination with consultant traffic team for timely submission and obtaining approval of temporary and permanent traffic diversion plan.

· Coordination work with authorities, clients and QP.

· Coordination with LTA term contractors (traffic light and street lighting).

· Ensure safety, health & security of the in-charge area.

· Assist in preparation of Approve-In-Principle (AIP), Preliminary, pre-final and final submission drawings with consultant for LTA, NPARKS, PUB and BCA submissions.

· Attending and preparing minutes for meeting with clients, consultant and technical agencies such as NPARKS, PUB, HDB, URA and etc

· Liaise and coordinate with interfacing contractors on traffic diversion matters.

· Assist in planning and execution of works

· Review method statement for various construction works and traffic diversion and traffic control plan for submission to LTA.

· Take part in briefing with sub-contractors on the technical

· Deal with arborist on site works to meet NPARKS requirement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of working experience in road alignment design and traffic engineering after tertiary education. Shall be well versed and have experience in LTA’s design standards.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) preferred.

• Experience in managing enterprise Linux (SUSE Linux) and Windows server environments in a complex IT infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant system architectures, with experience in clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.

• Hands-on experience with SQL database maintenance.

• Familiarity with network protocols, monitoring, remote administration, routing, switching, and firewall configuration, particularly with Palo Alto, McAfee, and Checkpoint appliances.

• Experience with SAN storage solutions and storage area networks (SAN).

• Knowledge of Microsemi NTP (Network Time Protocol) for time synchronization across network devices.

• Possess problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

Certifications:

Holding the following certifications or their equivalents would be beneficial.

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / CompTIA Network+

• ITIL Foundation
