Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical service and support for products.
- Perform testing and commissioning, including site acceptance tests in collaboration with consultants and end-users.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in customer installations and products.
- Maintain and execute service agreements with customers, ensuring adherence to contractual service levels.
- Provide guidance and expertise during new product installations and represent the company at on-site installation meetings to resolve field issues promptly.
- Conduct technical seminars for customers and channel partners, and represent the company at trade shows and special events.
- Offer feedback to Product Management regarding market conditions, product enhancements, and necessary upgrades.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports highlighting site-specific issues, customer concerns, or product performance challenges.
- Assist customers during the initial design phase and ensure proper application of Grid Solutions products.
- Deliver specialized training and operational documentation to customers to support their needs.
- Provide on-call support for customer installations and maintenance, including after-hours and weekend support as required.
- Undertake overseas travel within the Asia region for installations and maintenance projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of technical, sales, or related experience in Grid systems or the electrical industry.
- In-depth understanding of critical asset monitoring systems, including Battery Systems, UPS, and Battery Monitoring Systems, with experience in data center battery management and maintenance preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers, consultants, and end-users.
- Ability to work independently with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic personality with a customer-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and resolve issues involving multiple variables.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively, including occasional support for team planning.
- Previous sales or service experience is an advantage.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion with sensitive business information.
