Order Execution – PSB Engineering

• Take over the order from the Sales and execute the technical scope with the Project Manager.

• Work with the Project Manager to find the balance between technical solutions and project budget.

• Manages the order with internal departments, suppliers and contractors till all contractual requirements and obligations are fulfilled.

• Provide the order specific technical drawings, technical documents, and technical manuals for the customer’s technical representatives. To coordinate and support successful plant integration.

• Work with the factory on the order specific technical drawings and technical documentations.

• Ensure the factory scope fulfills to the agreed requirements with the customer.

• Work with the suppliers on the order specific technical drawings and related technical documentations. Calculate and verify the supplier’s technical proposals.

• Finalize the design of the balance of plant deliverables.

• Raise the purchase requisitions for the balance of plant scope of supply.

• Integrate the balance of plant scope to form up the final product.

• Ensure the balance of plant scope fulfills to the agreed requirements with the customer.

• Support the subsidiaries and partners on technical topics related to the site execution.

• Support the Project Manager on the lessons learnt with the suppliers.

• Prepares and carries out technical presentations and training.

• Familiarize oneself with the applicable international and in country technical standards.

• Travels overseas on business, when required.

• Updates oneself with the technical developments of the market and internal products.

Requirements :

• Technical experience in the diesel / gas engine / genset industry or Power Generation industry, min. 5 years.

• Hands on experience on regional engineering project management, site installation, site supervision and commissioning of diesel genset with knowledge of electrical power systems and genset control system

• Knowledge of engineering calculation for genset and electrical power systems.

• Knowledge of switchgear and electrical power protection would be an added advantage.

• Good understanding of Asian cultures and business practices.

• Willingness to travel. Mainly in APAC.

Sales and Project Engineer

• Working Days: Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve individual sales target by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and closure of transaction.
• Plan and oversee daily activities in meeting the project progress and quality goals.
• Provide continuous after sales support such as helping customers identify problems with installed equipment (if any), recommending improved material, machinery or parts for replacement and maintenance.
• Continuously improve on own’s knowledge on supplier’s products with the aim to introduce technology that add value to the customers.
• Review sales activities with the management on a weekly basis, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and status on deadlines.
• Working with the Sales Manager, produces report regularly to communicate with supplier on sales activities and status of project.
• Ability to travel within Singapore as required up to 70% of the time.Occasional travel beyond Singapore

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in any engineering fields.
