Application Support Engineer

Responsibility & Requirement

• Provide level 2 support for the core banking system of the bank.
• Application includes modules related to accounting, back office transactions, payments, risks, and reporting for local regulator or Head Office in Paris.
• Customization, Integration testing phases and document solutions, with a focus on integration of Real-Time Payments System, Products and adherence with bank policies.
• Main responsibilities In close interaction with the projects stakeholders, candidate will understand requirements ,Collaborate with technical IT specialists ,Ensure integration of the new tool with existing enterprise application ecosystem of the bank.
• Contribute in analyzing, resolving and providing technical support ,contribute to maintaining a high standard of delivery quality ,participate in technical discussions and propose solutions based on industry best practices
• Prepare and maintain support functional documentation with process flows, user stories, functional test cases, integration tests etc.

Required Skills:

• Core Banking, Application support, Unix,Java.
• Knowledge on UNIX servers and applications build on JAVA/J2EE in Unix environment.
• Knowledge on WINDOWS servers and applications management WINDOS environment.
• Understanding of Relational Database Systems like Sybase, ORACLE and MSSQL.
• Knowledge on messaging systems such as WebSphere MQ
• Good understanding of DevOps, with experience on at least one of the configuration management tools ,like ansible, Pupet
• Very good understanding of application system design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Management of requests coming from support, MOE ( Development) , infrastructure Teams ,Coordinating with different Teams ( Mainly Support Teams, Infrastructure Teams ) with primary objective of Keeping Application up and running.
• Minimum experience of 6 years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Able to use primavera 6 and Microsoft project for project scheduling
• Gather pertinent data, perform related calculations and analyse schedule impact, include critical path method (CPM).
• Produce and maintain the good quality work on project schedule, inclusive frequent updating project schedule with physical site progress
• Able develop progress reports, daily, weekly and monthly basis (e.g., overall S-curve, plan vs actual table)
• Proactively engage and communicate with Construction Team on schedule matters for developing quality schedule and updated the status
• Determine project requirements and estimate resources by allocating correct resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate between interdisciplinary for logical connection among activities.
• Prepare construction schedules, resource and cost loaded with governance of major project milestones stated in the project contract.
• Oversee the master schedule and highlight deviations that critical enough to pay attention to supervisor/project management team.
• Coordinate with Contract Engineer on project progress claims matters.
• Interface with sub-contractors and client’s representative to finalise the baseline schedule.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Experience in setting up factory or area for Cleanroom requirements
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation software
