Overall Responsibilities:

• To teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by the school’s curricular programmes - Secondary, IGCSE and IB Diploma.
• To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Head of School.
• To promote the attributes and attitude of the IB Learner Profile and the school values.

Includes the below but not limited to

• Teach across the whole age range, including Secondary, IGCSE and IB Diploma.
• Design, prepare and deliver lessons to teach knowledge, techniques, support and enhance each learner’s understanding.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that every learners' individual needs are catered for through differentiated planning, learning engagements and assessment opportunities.
• Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement, including writing students reports and attending parents meetings.
• Lead or be involved in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff trainings, meetings, etc.
• Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all students.

Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.
• Candidate must at least possess Bachelor's degree and a Professional Degree in Teaching/Teaching qualification certificates (PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma)/Valid Teacher License/QTS.
• Strong knowledge and experience of teaching English for Secondary, IGCSE and IB level compulsory.
• Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
• A passionate educator with the ability to deliver student-centred, inquiry based learning.
• Candidate with more years of teaching experience can be considered for a higher position.

Working location: Punggol Campus (North-East)

Responsibilities:

• Teach and engage preschool children aged 2 to 6 years old using creative methods.
• Plan and prepare daily lessons and activities at least a week in advance.
• Organize and set up materials and activity sheets before class begins.
• Collaborate with the Principal to develop activity sheets.
• Draft letters or notes to parents with the Principal’s approval.
• Check children’s bags daily and hand over documents to the admin or Principal as needed.
• Monitor the children’s communication app daily and respond promptly to parents' queries.
• Maintain accurate records and checklists on children’s progress and activities.
• Work effectively with team members and communicate professionally with parents.
• Contact and update parents about their child when necessary.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in fundraising activities for the kindergarten/association.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the Principal during school events diligently.
• Assist children with toileting needs when required.
• Cover classes or duties in the absence of other staff as assigned by the Principal.
• Adhere to the daily duty roster set by the Principal.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Certified by ECDA (L1/L2)
• A high tolerance level towards children is an advantage
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
