Reporting to the Senior Environmental Consultant, the Associate Consultant’s main responsibility will be to prepare environmental impact assessment proposals and reports and undertake environmental monitoring and management plans with a focus on biodiversity, while assisting in other environmental business areas in Singapore and across Southeast Asia (i.e., EIA, EBS, EMMP).

Job Responsibilities

· Conduct biodiversity surveys, coordinate with internal team and external subcontractors, assist in project proposal preparation.

· Support in environmental projects such as EIA, EBS, EMMP, report writing, and monitoring field works for Singapore and International Projects.

· Carry out monitoring and assessments for other environmental aspects of the business (i.e., water quality, air and noise quality, soil);

· Providing technical and regulatory support for ESC country-based teams in Asia.

Job Requirements

· Open to fresh graduates, or with 1-2 years’ experience in an environmental consulting environment. Working experience in a consultant firm with exposure to biodiversity monitoring would be an advantage.

· Field experience in conducting biodiversity surveys is advantageous.

· Familiarity with at least one area of biodiversity e.g., flora, fauna, is advantageous.

· Knowledge of Singapore’s Environmental Laws and Regulations, BIA guidelines, PUB and NEA guidelines etc.

· Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.

· Ability to exercise discretion on complex & sensitive issues.

· Ability to work well in a team with diverse backgrounds.

Here’s the bit about the opportunity.

As a Sales Engineer at Fireblocks in APAC, you will take full ownership and responsibility for your designated projects and clients, from the product sales demonstration up to the preparation of client onboarding. You will be expected to understand the competitive landscape and how other competing solutions and platforms operate, be a gatekeeper to the internal engineering groups, assist with POC setup and testing, give demos on all advanced features related to API, handle tier 1-3 knowledge transfer to customers, coordinate workshops, assist in customer onboarding, handle RFPs and more.

You’ll be

● Working within a supportive APAC-wide Sales Engineering team of highly motivated self-starters

● Supporting the Sales team through the entire client sales cycle from qualification to client onboarding

● Tailoring each demo to match the unique requirements of the customer to show how Fireblocks can support their Digital Asset goals

● Delivering in-depth technical presentations to C-level executives and cybersecurity professionals regularly

● Collaborate internally with Account Managers, Sales Directors and Product Managers

● Translating technical knowledge and terminology to non-technical audiences

● Managing multiple projects and preparing RFx responses simultaneously, each with its bespoke requirement.

You’ll bring:

● Experience in either a pre-sales or consulting position within a Fintech, Crypto or Cybersecurity company

JOB SUMMARY:

The Applications Engineer is responsible for promoting the sale of the Division’s products which requires engineering knowledge sufficient to make judgments involving applications, installations, and economic consideration, as well as, handling all customer and distributor inquiries requiring technical assistance.

• Primarily responsibility is to support sales in the quoting, designing, and costing of solutions to customer problems, including prompt responses to inquiries and questions.

• Provides quotations, both written and verbal, in accordance with ERP and company price lists, electronic quote tool and contractual discount schedules; performs necessary follow-up.
• Assists customers with troubleshooting problems, handles customer complaints, and solves problems in a prompt, professional manner; may be involved in investigating and reporting on warranty claims and return goods authorization (RGA) process.
• Performs costing analysis, when necessary, on product line items versus published pricing to arrive at gross margin calculation for review and approval by Applications and Sales Managers
• Coordinates customer delivery requirements with the Production Department
• Recommends modifications to standard products to meet individual customer requirements, within practical company and economic limitations.
• Takes necessary actions to increase sales of the Division’s products.
• Represents, on occasion, and if necessary, the division at trade shows as well as potential visits to customer for sales or service-related activities.
• Assists in creating marketing literature, website development and other system tools to boost productivity and sales.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with plant emission control design
• 2-3 years of experience developing system design for nuisance dry particulate collection for industrial manufacturing processes
• Understanding of EPA emissions requirements is preferred.
• Experience working with materials used in corrosive and/or high temperature environments.
• Experience working with technical specifications is preferred.
• Understanding of the physics of gas flow is preferred.
• Knowledge of fans and process systems is preferred.
• Experience developing cost estimates and proposals for engineered equipment systems.
• Experience working with pollution control and product recovery equipment is preferred.
• Experience managing equipment design and supply projects is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
