Roles & Responsibilities:-

· Planning the detail construction methods, sequences, and procedures, and in liaison with the subcontractors under the direction and instruction of the Construction Manager.

· Directing the field construction works with strict control, especially on works activities that been identified to be hazardous and of high risky and ensuring their compliances of safe work practice.

· Ensuring all the works to conform to the Specifications, Works sequence and methods of construction.

· Identifying nonconformities and reporting them to the Construction Manager and Quality Management Representative.

· Supervising the field construction works including safety arrangements.

· Coordinate with Site Engineers of the subcontractors’ works.

· Carrying out or attending inspections and monitoring the progress of the works.

· Handling Engineering matters including work procedures and shop drawings.

· Managing the subcontractors and workers.

· Implementing the Quality System in the field construction works.

· Produce working schedules of short terms and keep records of the works.

· Ensuring that work schedules are followed and achieve milestones dates.

· Reporting to the Construction Manager if any changes and conflicts are ordered or found in the construction.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:-

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience after obtaining a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE board, or other qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance by the Engineer and minimum 5 years of experience in the construction supervision of major underground structures of a similar nature.

• Actively involved in job estimation and WIP (Work-In-Progress) tracking
• Work with engineering support section on product design, tester design, maintenance service and implement hardware and software components to integrate into in-service systems
• Manage and supervise the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) tasks allocated to the section in supporting commercial products, company's proprietary and non-proprietary products
• Deliver allocated and ad-hoc tasks within stipulated timeline and cost
• Understand the concept of Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) tools such as FMEA so to achieve improvement in MRO effectiveness, reduced manpower requirements and minimized life cycle cost
• Conduct and lead failure investigations and prepare reports for problems or issues based on findings from facts, researches, studies and make necessary recommendations
• Submit investigation reports to relevant authority for approval
• Generate documents and engineering process plans to ensure operation requirements and safety standards are maintained
• Conduct technology search for MRO applications and introduce technology enablers to improve performance and quality of the repaired systems or components
• Participate in Customer meetings to gain insights to their needs and expectations, translating these requirements into deliverables where feasible
• Responsible for the training of technicians; planning, assigning, and directing work to a group of technicians; appraising, addressing complaints and resolving conflicts
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Bruker Singapore is seeking for a Field Service Engineer within the service organization. He/She is an ambassador of Bruker Nano Surfaces Metrology (BNSM) instrumentation and technology. Bruker Nano Surfaces Metrology manufactures the world's leading Atomic Forces Microscopes, Stylus profilers, Mechanical Testers, X-Ray Diffractometer and non-contact 3D optical microscope instrumentation. This technical role responsible for customer direct post-sale instrumentation and application support including: installation, user and application training, instrument diagnostics/fix, and post-sale applications support. Individual must be customer focused with a strong technical background enabling our customers to maintain their instrument at peak performance and maximize productivity for their intended use case.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (AAFM(NanoMet), AFMi, TSOM & X-ray) for customers both domestic and international
• Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location
• Provide on-­site training to the customers
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
