Senior Resident Engineer (SRE-C&S)

a. Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 6 years on projects similar in size and complexity; in particular deep excavation, foundation, cut and cover tunnel works and building works;

b. Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the

Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;

c. Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore;

d. The SRE shall be proficient in contract administration with Public Service

Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC);

e. Demonstrate capability to manage the Supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo) and/or the project consultants and FUI owners, including planning the roster shift duties based on the work schedules of the contractors and ensure the welfare of the personnel reporting to him are well taken care

of. The shift roster shall comply with all relevant Acts and Regulations;

f. Past project experience in leading supervision teams in projects of similar nature. He/she must demonstrate proven commitment to safety and health on site, possess excellent leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;

g. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;

h. Possess strong supervision and leadership skills;

i. Conversant with all procedures in the Workplace Safety & Health

Manual.

Responsibilities:

To assist the Project Manager on project site work by focusing mainly on the aspects of construction, safety quality management, and project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.

Prepare method statements, design plans, and specifications.

Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, authorities, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters.

Develop projected milestone and operational plans for different phases of the project which includes scheduling, monitoring and reviewing of the work of others.

Determine project requirements and estimate resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.

Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and requirements of relevant authorities.

Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements. Support contract administration and construction inspection by reviewing final plans, specifications, special conditions, and agreements.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), or equivalent.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or Mechanical equivalent.

Familiar with Civil, Archi & Steel Structural Works

Experience in process plants handling both consultants with client will be added advantage

Experience:

* 2 - 4 Years of Experience in BIM Softwares (Revit and Cadision)

* CDE - ACC and BIM360

* BIM Revit Content Creation

* Proefficient Microsoft Excel Knowledge - Mandatory

* Meta Data Management and Administration

* Possess Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skill.

Qualification:

* Any degree followed by Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Education.

* Specialization in BIM Course with professional Certification - Mandatory

Skill Set:

* Support BIM Coordinator at all type of 3D BIM Modelling and assigned tasks.

* Parametric family creation & LookupTable edit/ Manage knowledge is Mandatory.

* Must have extensive knowledge in creating various kinds of Revit Families.

* Managing Revit Lookup table using Microsoft Excel.

* Hands-on experience in Revit & Navisworks.

* Preparing all kinds of 2D and 3D drawings & deliverables from the Revit model.

* Clash detection and co-ordination using Navisworks.

* Able to handle all types of 2D CAD Drafting Works
