• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for the presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

Job Purpose

To discharge all duties & responsibilities applicable to all projects under the WSH Regulations & subsidiary legislations, as well as contractual obligations under the assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement company Safety Management System on all project sites
• Assist the Management to organize and promote EHS activities and campaigns to raise awareness among site personnel
• Review EHS Management System and recommend for improvement and ensure continual compliance to regulations and other legal requirements
• Ensure that all statutory regulations, code of practice and company’s Safety Management System are implemented and complied with among project site
• Advise management on all matters pertaining EHS
• Assist the Project Managers to investigate all incidents and record all findings to prevent recurrence of incident
• Establish and maintain a positive EHS environment on the project site
• Act as Secretary of the Project EHS Committee

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or any equivalent professional qualification related to Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
• ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Certificates
• Active registration with MOM as WSHO
• Minimum 3 years employment in similar capacity in construction or engineering environment previously.
• Possess good understanding and experience in preparation, review and maintenance of ISO9001/14001/45001 management systems.
• Possess strong and effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a team player to complete assigned goals and targets timely.
• Able to function effectively in construction sites

The role includes business development, trust administration, client relationship management and client advisory.

Business Development of Trust Services:

• Attend to client enquiries, attend meetings with prospective clients, prepare proposals for new business, and assist in business development activities.
• Ensure that new business acquired are in compliance with regulatory requirements and to reject business with unacceptable business or reputational risks.
• Active involvement with initial client on-boarding process, be responsible for the collection of the establishment fee and to liaise with clients on trust set-up and initial asset injection.

Trust Administration, Client Relationship Management and Client Advisory:

• Act as point of contact for clients, liaise with clients on the administration of trust accounts.
• Day-to day duties includes attend to client queries, coordinate trust account activities, carry out trustee function, and properly document the account files.
• Carry out day-to-day unit trust administration duties for unit trust accounts and ensure that net asset valuation reports are prepared and delivered to unitholders on timely basis.
• Assist in the opening of banking and custodian accounts on behalf of trust accounts.
• Conduct periodic review of assigned trust accounts to ensure that they are being administered in accordance with company policies, jurisdiction and legal requirements.
• Ensure that all accounts met regulatory requirements and to report any breaches.
• To acquire and enhance technical skills where required, keep abreast of market developments.
• Acting as Deputy for Senior Manager.
• Supervise junior and senior trust officers.
• Any additional ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience for Senior Trust Officers, in wealth planning, trust and other fiduciary services. Working experience is unit trust administration preferred.
• Professionally qualified – STEP or ICSA or studying towards the qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge in trust, tax, accounting and company law.
• Able to assist in reviewing of trust and related documentation.
• Able to start work within short notice preferred.
