• A diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical and power engineering
• At least five years' relevant experience
• Well versed with WSH Act and other statutory requirements and codes of practices
• Good initiative, interpersonal and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

* Technical Support:

• Work closely with research scientiest and engineers to support R&D projects in advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Identify and recommend appropriate characterization techniques, test standard and methodology for projects.
• Perform sample preparation, equipment operation, data collection and report for metallurgical analysis, materials characterization and measurement.
• Operate and maintain analytical and test equipment, such as cross-section polisher, optical microscope with image processing software, mechanical tester, profilometer and spectrometers.

* Lab Management and day-to-day operations

• Maintain lab equipment in good working condition, lab consumables are adequately stocked and well managed.
• Source and purchase new equipment, modules and accessories.
• Prepare and update lab safety document RA/SWP. Implement and maintain 5S in the lab.
• Provide training and advice for lab equipment users.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive work and learning attitude.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Work location: Jurong East (near IMM)

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 5pm

Remuneration / Benefits:

• Basic salary up to 3.5k
• Guaranteed AWS
• Performance bonus (twice per year)
• Flexi pay $300 per year
• Fixed transport allowance from home to office provided (amount calculated based on distance)
• Increment after probation (subject to performance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of lift technicians to ensure seamless coordination of work assignments
• Provide technical assistance for preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure proper records are maintained
• Assist in investigating damage/accidents and collaborate with clients by providing timely updates on maintenance work progress and addressing their concerns
• Conduct regular inspections to guarantee compliance with safety standards and promptly address when issues arise
• Manage inventory and procurement of necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned by manager
