To provide technical expertise and solution consultancy for system migration on AFE systems such as Radio Switch, Radio integration, Mux deployment, Power system and deep knowledge on Gov comms operation routine and setup. Milestone 2. To supervise installation and setup in accordance to ICIT design. Ensure installation is carried out with minimum operations impact.

Job Description

MAIN DUTIES:

Position Requirements: Effectively manage the Hotel’s trading. He/ She will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s operation, whilst ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and the safety and the security of the property.

Representative of the Senior Management:

• The Duty Manager will be the first to be called if a guest is looking for a member of the management team. In dealing with different situations, the Duty Manager must ensure that they use tact and diplomacy to rectify quickly the situation, reaching the guest satisfaction but as well respecting the procedures and organization of Sofitel Sentosa Singapore.
• Maintain an accurate record in the Duty Manager's logbook of items and incidents which may be of concern to the management and/or which may requires further attentions.

Lobby Co-ordination:

• The first assignment & main area of work of the Duty Manager is the Lobby, when the Duty Manager is not away to do a specific mission, he/she will spend all his/her time in the lobby to co-ordinate the overall lobby activity and will be dynamic in guest relationships.
• Leader of the Communication: The Duty Manager is a leader of the Front Office communication and will be active in the following tasks:
• The Duty Manager will join daily the Front Office Manager briefing & weekly the Front Office Meeting to bring with dynamism and initiatives all the questions, case studies & new ideas to be considered and discussed.
• The Duty Manager will be very active giving full information & updates to all the Front Office staff. During the absence of the Front Office Manager, The Briefing will be conducted by the Duty Manager.
• All incidents must be recorded in the Duty Manager Logbook. Front Office Manager to be contacted in case of any emergency.
• Ensure the overall co-ordination of the Front Office Operations and to assist all sections of the Front Office department.

Supervision & Controls:

• Responsible to keep all Front Office Standards and Procedures in line with Sofitel Sentosa Singapore Policies.
• Ensure the proper follow up of the room requests & co-ordination with housekeeping regarding the priorities in room cleaning.
• Ensure that the End of Day is completed correctly and that the number of "No Show", "Rooms Occupied", “Complimentary” and "House Use" are accurate. The Duty Manager to supervise the accuracy of the daily financial reports issued by Front Office.
• Ensure that all Front Office areas are clear, clean & tidy at all times.
• Ensure all Front Office Standards and Procedures in line with the hotel policies
• Ensure the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation.
• Provide supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
• Ensure department policies and procedures are understood by all employees and observed in tasks performed.
• Ensure effective communication of new and updated information regarding policies, rates and general hotel information.
• Room controller, making sure that the rooms are allocated accurately and correctly.

Responsibility in terms of security:

• Report to security any suspicious behaviour, luggage and altercations. All incidents must be recorded in the Duty Manager’s Logbook.

Requirements

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Minimum 2 to 4 years related experience in Front Office
• Able to work shift, including weekends and public holidays
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

JOB DESCRIPTION

Finance Business Partner

• Perform financial planning and analysis work, including providing detailed variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, to support decision-making across the organization.
• Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecast and annual budget for area of accountability. Review and challenge operational plans by reviewing underlying drivers and assumptions made when preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budget.
• Support the business teams in the evaluation of the potential investment / divestment and business operation considerations during acquisition / divestment process. Liaise with other finance functions to ensure that accounting and tax impacts are appropriately considered.
• Liaise with JV partners on matters arising, such as dividend distributions, shareholder loans, other financial and operational matters, if required.
• Support the Platform Finance Business Partner Lead in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorisation Limits.
• Review existing procedures and systems and identify opportunities in process improvement, system enhancement, automation and digitalization.

Consolidation & Reporting

• Assist in segment consolidation and preparation of financial and management reporting of the Segment
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements of the Division and other information required for Group reporting
• Liaise with auditors on group level audit issues
• Liaise with Accounts & Operations team for entity level submission and any other reporting

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirement:

• Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Business/Finance or equivalent
• Strong accounting knowledge and application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
• Displays positive attitude, team player, meticulous and the ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Able to work independently and possess good communication skills

This role reports directly to the Managing Director based in Singapore and will be in charge of driving growth of new equipment sales, spare parts and services in an assigned region in Southeast Asia.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales management: Influence, shape and implement the sales and marketing strategy with a particular focus on key assigned markets. Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and channels.

Account management and marketing: Build and develop established relationships with key customers such as shipyards and owners, and technical consultants. Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Strategy planning: Take a proactive support role to plan and prepare the annual budget and sales forecasts and execute specific plans to meet the target. Regular provision of information for planning and forecast via sales force

Operational management: Align sales with factory’s manufacturing capacity. Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximize the capabilities of the business. Manages sales process, coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with technical team, internal functions, other involved professionals and management.

YOUR PROFILE

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.

· You have a strong and successful sales experience of around 5 to 10 years in marine industry, preferably selling capital equipment’s.

· You are a strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is able to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.

· You have good interpersonal skills and can interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.

• Overall control and responsibility for the designated project.
• To establish, monitor and update all Project plans, budgets, programmes and resources requirements
• To establish the Project tendering procedures and conditions, structuring of contract packages and appointment, administration and payment of all subcontractors and suppliers.
