The candidate will be familiarised with the credit risk profile of the businesses within Asia.  Escalating significant credit risk issues, facilitating the execution and improvement of risk management processes and providing solutions to traders to achieve the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support onboarding and assess the credit worthiness of trading counterparties, producers and end-users
• Prepare and monitor credit exposures, limits and overdues of the Asian portfolio on a timely basis
• Prepare credit structures including prepayments/ inventory financings etc
• Prepare credit reviews and requests to Credit committee
• Provide inputs to improve credit risk frameworks, processes and methodologies for new products and markets
• Advise and work with various stakeholders to implement appropriate credit mitigation tools including insurance, trade finance, netting and guarantee agreements
• Keeping abreast of market news and developments impacting portfolio
• Participate in counterparty meetings with traders and marketers

Job Description:

• Attend to import and export shipment process and documentation preparation
• Prepares full set of shipping documentations such as packing lists, invoice and certificate of origin
• To coordinate with production/warehouse teams for shipment preparation
• Monitor shipments' departure and arrival
• Declare and apply custom permit related documents
• Coordinating Shipment and Delivery orders
• Liaising closely with various forwarders for shipment confirmation and shipment arrangements
• Liaise with customer/suppliers on shipment of orders
• Follow-up and advise customers on shipment status
• Able to resolve customer complaints in professional manner
• Understand the different tax and duties when shipping to different countries
• Be able to advise Sales/Purchasing Department on estimated shipping cost that might be incurred on a particular shipment
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holders, preferably and specialized in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Working experience in shipping, supply chain or logistics will be an added advantage
• Work independently and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Team player and dynamic, ability to multi-task
• Good communication and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Inspection: Assist in receiving and checking incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock and assist with inventory checks.
• Shipping Coordination: Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Ensure all logistics records and documentation, such as invoices and inventory logs, are accurately maintained.
• Warehouse Support: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, following safety protocols.
• Team Communication: Work closely with internal teams and transporters to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum “N” Levels or equivalent.
• Mature, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Forklift License preferred but not required.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift and move items up to 20KG and handle warehouse tasks.

Additional Information:

• Working Location: Alps Ave.
• Working Hours: 5.5 working days, Day and Afternoon shift. Afternoon shift allowance provided.
• Company Transport: Pick-up points - Bedok, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Punggol, Sengkang.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Identifying areas where operational processes can be improved for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and implementing necessary changes.
2. Oversee and coordinate the work of different departments or teams within the organization, ensuring that everyone is working together effectively to achieve operational goals.
3. Assisting in creating and managing budgets for various operational activities, and ensuring that expenditures are in line with financial constraints.
4. Preparing reports and updates for senior management, outlining key performance indicators and operational metrics.
5. Uncover any customer issues or service lapses and discuss them with the management team, to devise ways of improving, and resolving problems and complaints
6. Work closely with the management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
7. Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating Management
• Strategic thinking ability, proven implementation results
• Experience in customer service with good communication & interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
