We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our event management team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events and a proven ability to build relationships, close deals, and achieve sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of events to meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Identify and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients to achieve sales targets.
Pitch event management services to prospective clients, tailoring proposals to meet their specific needs.
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and event lifecycle.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Event Coordination Support
Work closely with the event planning team to ensure seamless delivery of events.
Communicate client requirements clearly to the project team to ensure alignment with client expectations as well as proper handover
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract agreements.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the event management, hospitality, or related industry.
- Process strong product knowledge in the events industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
