Summary: As a Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the management of customers’ business requirement in order to generate growth and business opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities:
· P&L Responsibility
· Manage key customers, identify their needs & potentials and develop growth & business opportunities
· Take ownership of rates/surcharges/info requests and tender negotiations
· Respond to customers’ needs, enquires and complaints
· Oversee agents’ performance, set agent’s marketing objectives, and close liaison with them to
· achieve optimum results & revenue
· Understand market trends, our products, competitors and industry as part of feedback and learning
· Manage coordination with various departments (Trade, Billing and Accounts)
· Adopt and utilise CRM system
Key performance Indicators:
· Acquire product knowledge
· Achieve rate increases and expand business
· Achieve surcharge / cost recovery implementations
· Aim to increase 3rd party purchase
· Hande tenders/contracts
· Accurate and on time internal and external communication
· Identify marketing strategy
· Maintain customer interest, satisfaction and good internal working relationships
· Ensure customer retention
· Prepare and update Competitor Analysis
· Ensure agents have clear marketing objectives set
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar specialization from a recognized university.
· Minimum 3 years’ of shipping experience.
· Experience in key account management and knowledge of shipping products.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills, spoken and written.
· Detailed and meticulous and strong problem solving skills.
· Ability to manage and develop relationship and negotiate at different levels of a customer organization.
· Self-driven and result oriented.
· Able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
· Able to travel overseas.
· Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
