1. Managing Trade documentation and operations for Paper business of the Company
2. Handle Import & Export documentations (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO etc.)
3. Process and submit import L/C application to the bank, review export L/C and request amendments if any.
4. Coordinate with suppliers and/or their agent for documentation & shipping requirement.
5. Check shipment status and inform sales / customer of the status timely.
6. Check import shipping documents and ensure it complies with the contract.
7. Prepare export documents and ensure that it strictly complies with the letter of credit and/or customer’s requirement.
8. Monitor payment from customer against L/C or terms whichever applicable
9. Constantly co-ordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery of the commodity
10. Gain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of clients and develop long term plans to realize the potential
11. Work with Senior Management to determine the effective direction and process for growing revenue and profits
Experience & Qualifications:
· A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in Documentation and Trading Operations
· A knowledge of India and Africa Markets in Paper a must
· Knowledge of Business Central ERP added advantage
· Should be a team player, willing to meet tight deadlines and able to work across time zones
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills
· Strategic Thinking – easily identifies customer needs and satisfies them
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
