Strategic and Partnership Management

1. Work alongside the team to drive the MENDAKI Professional Network (PN) strategies by engaging and developing Malay/Muslim professionals to groom the next generation of community and industry leaders.
2. Connect with government agencies and key partners such as SkillsFuture Singapore and Workforce Singapore for updates on the data and trends pertaining to employment and employability
3. Work hand-in-hand with assigned PN Team Leads and Core Teams and other stakeholders and partners in implementing key Future Ready initiatives.
4. Collaborate with key departments in MENDAKI (such as Communications and Partnerships) to ensure alignment of messaging and workplan targets.
5. Support the department in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new partners to drive impactful programmes, explore new initiatives, and secure funding to support the PN efforts.

Secretariat role to MENDAKI Professional Networks (PN)

1. To serve as the secretariat to assigned PNs and work closely with the PN Leads, Asst Leads and Core Teams to achieve their targets.
2. Work with assigned PN Core Teams and Communications Team to develop marketing collaterals and strategies to enhance engagement.
3. Maintain and manage the professionals’ database including tracking professionals’ information, engagement history contact information and other relevant data points.
4. Assist in budget forecasting and budgeting activities in relation to the assigned networks, including sourcing of funding for new project ideas.
5. Implement budget plans to manage resource allocations to the assigned networks’ projects and initiatives.
6. Monitor budget outcomes to ensure proper utilization and accounting of resources.
7. To organise regular onboarding briefing for new PN members.
8. To oversee the engagement strategies which include regular communications with PN members via email and LinkedIn.

Programme Management

1. To support FR leadership team in the planning and organisation of the PN events at MENDAKI level and providing timely updates about PN works to Management and stakeholders.
2. Evaluate the effectiveness of the projects and initiatives carried out by the assigned PNs through the collection and analysis of feedback.
3. Conduct reviews of programmes and recommend areas of improvement or adaptation, in consultation with PN Leads and Core teams, to suit the needs of the professionals in the relevant sectors.
4. Assist in other key Future Ready initiatives for Malay/Muslim professionals such as Hari Raya Networking Lunch, #MakingConnections and other network engagement sessions.

Others

1. Any other duties as assigned by the FR leadership team and MENDAKI management as a whole.

Requirements

1. Degree in Business Administration/ Project Management or other related degrees.
2. 2-3 years of experience in programme/events delivery and management, and stakeholder engagement and management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Safety of the vessel and her crew always as a top priority.

Job Description:

RECRUITMENT

· Recruitment and selection. Drafting of the job advertisement, post on various platform, follow up to identify suitable candidates, conduct interviews, get Management approval.

· Handles all the foreign work pass application, renewals and cancellation for employees/candidates including medical examination arrangement.

HANDLE PRE-BOARDING, ON-BOARDING AND EXIT-CLEARANCE PROCESS

TRAINING

· Monitor and make registration for the employee who need to attend Basic/Refresher Food Safety Level 1 course.

· Identifying the training needs of the organization. Searching and conduct training course for employees for specific jobs.

MANPOWER PLANNING

· Monitor foreign worker quota closely.

· Computation the number of quota in advance.

· Analysis and find solution to maintain/increase number of quota.

INVENTORY

· Manage inventory of staff uniforms, shoes, medicine, facemask, etc.

PAYROLL

· Prepare, check and process payroll for submission to Finance Department ensuring that salary is paid timely and accurately.

STAFF WELFARE

· Carry out employee reimbursement. Check benefits claims against entitlements.

· Birthday welfare arrangement.

HR POLICY, SALARY & BENEFIT

· Study competitors of the organisation. Compare organisation's compensation and benefits programmes against industry practices.

· Review and work with Management on HR policies and procedures, employee rewards & benefits.

STAFF PERFORMANCE AND DISCIPLINARY MANAGEMENT

· Monitor closely on staff performance during employment. Support line managers in dealing with grievances and disciplinary issues.

PWM (PROGRESSIVE WAGE MODEL)

· To ensure the company pay the employee at least the minimum monthly wage for their respective levels to ensure compliance with the PWM.

MOM SURVEY

· Participate in MOM surveys and ad-hoc surveys.

GOVERNMENT GRANT / CLAIM

· Prepare applications for various relevant grants/claim offered by the government agencies. Eg. Childcare leave, foreign worker levy waives, SG United programmes, etc.

INSURANCES

· Handle insurance process including report and claim with related party (MOM & Insurance agency) when it is necessary.

· Renew Work Injury Compensation Insurance and Foreign Worker Medical Insurance timely. Review and compare quotations from different insurance agency upon renewal.

ADMINISTRATION WORK

· Process and prepare all types of employment-related letters including employment contracts, confirmation letters, termination letters, promotion letter, increment letters, warning letter, etc.

· Administer and update employees’ personnel database.

· Organized and maintain filling system (hard & soft copy)

· Any other task assigned by Management.

Job Requirement:

· Degree/Diploma in any disciplines and/or Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management/At-least 2 – 3 years of HR experience.

· Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices

· Good knowledge of Government legislations (MOM, CPF and IRAS)

· Effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with all levels

· Organized, independent and able to seek solutions

· Strong people skills

· Ability to organize and multi task in a fast pace environment

· Possess integrity, “Can Do” attitude with passion and a global mindset

Job Description

• Reporting to the Division Manager and manage a group of safety co-ordinators
• Conduct/coordinate HSE internal audits
• Handle customer's complaints, pertaining to HSE issues, implement corrective action amd preventive action
• Prepare and update HSE documents and procedures
• Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate or reduce foreseeable risk to employees
• Review and update the site specific MSRA and ensure alignment with industry best practices
• Develop and implement site environmental control programmes
• Consult and discuss with Project Managers on alll EHS irregularities and recommend corrective actions
• Establish WSH training matrix and programmes for employees in the division
• Investigate accidents, prepare reports and recommend remedial actions

Job Requirements

• Must be a registered WSHO and ECO
• A diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical and power engineering
• At least five years' relevant experience
• Well versed with WSH Act and other statutory requirements and codes of practices
• Good initiative, interpersonal and communication skills
