Responsibilities:

• Manage and address all export-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with shippers to arrange collection and resolve other export-related matters.
• Collaborate with the sales team and destination offices to obtain air approval and establish rates.
• Coordinate with the finance team regarding shipments with Cash on Delivery (COD) payments or customer accounts that have exceeded their credit limit.
• Work closely with the Vendor Management team to organize collection logistics.
• Liaise with the air freight planner to ensure timely flight scheduling.
• Coordinate with the import team for re-export shipments.
• Facilitate communication with the permits department to ensure the timely processing of export permit applications.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to oversee cargo acceptance, release, sorting, packing, and storage requests.
• Coordinate with external vendors for dangerous goods (DG) packing, crating, and fumigation services.
• Work closely with the export operations team to provide accurate shipping instructions.
• Support the manager in overseeing the team's daily operational activities and troubleshooting issues.
• Assist the manager with departmental projects and initiatives.
• Provide support to the manager in the setup of new customer accounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
• Experience in Air Freight Customer Service
• Strong personal presence and credibility, complemented by excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts.
• Perform monthly management reports including relevant schedules.
• Accounts Receivable functions such as ensuring prompt and accurate billings, following up with delayed/non-payments, and other irregularities.
