Purpose and Scope

This position is responsible for fulfilling the purchasing requirements for SembWaste and Sembcorp Environment Energy from Waste Plant, and spend categories includes Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Business Partnering

• Actively engaging business stakeholders, translate business requirements to sourcing strategies to deliver business requirements.
• Understand business priorities and guide stakeholders to propose and execute the operational strategies with consideration to risk mitigation and governance.

Sourcing & Contract Management

Supplier Management

Business Process improvement

Admin Support

• Perform vendor screening, supply market research and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers to be added to the pre-approved vendor list.

Accounts Payable

Monitor and ensure data of inventories/ invoices/ vendor particulars are input into the Accounting System.
Ensure all documentations are well received, invoices tally with delivery orders and ensuring payment are promptly issued within credit term.

- Operate Pallet Jack and Pallet Stacker to keep warehouse neat and tidy

- Assist Driver to unload goods to the outlets.

- Maintain housekeeping and safety for the warehouse area

- Liaise with freight forwarder and handing import shipment documents

- In charge of financial month end & year end physical stocks take listing

- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management
