Job Description

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

As a Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) Equipment Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for the development, improvement and qualification of new and existing equipment, hardware, software and processes.

You will work with Key Equipment Groups, Site Equipment teams, Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, QA, Suppliers and other cross functional Central team resources to specify, develop, optimize, integrate and qualify new and existing systems for manufacturing.

You will provide direction and assistance locally and internationally with the aim at enabling new technology, reducing overall cost, increase yield, reliability, safety, equipment throughput and utilization optimization, product manufacturing quality improvements and continuous improvement projects.

You will align and facilitate improvement of manufacturing capability and performance, executing global business processes, and enabling the leverage of world-wide resources to deliver Best Known Methods (BKM) at the most effective and efficient way as part of the responsibility. You must also be willing and capable of international travel as and when needed.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Equipment

• Responsible for TEST TOR (Tool of Records) equipment sites' support, evaluation, trouble-shooting and installation
• Fan out Best-Known Method to all sites in TOR procedures, deficiencies, and designs/implements improvements.
• Work closely with process engineering and site’s equipment maintenance team to develop and support new process/technology implementation.
• Monitor and identify process efficiency, OEE and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Supports TOR Equipment OS (Operating Software) and software release.
• Supports evaluation on new technologies and equipment to improve current tool sets and method.
• Independent and self-driven in projects/tasks assigned.
• Occasionally need to travel to support relevant projects/deployment.

Support internal/external Customer

• Responsible in conducting and mentoring sites equipment owners to take on new project in CST (Copy Smart Team). Eventually enabling the CST member to take up active roles and responsibilities.
• Respond to the High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) site request as needed.
• Prioritize the customer requests as needed.
• Respond to the external customer requirement as needed.
• Diagnose test area equipment problems and implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/ Master's in Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Good understanding of equipment electrical/mechanical fundamental such as: electronics circuit, infra-structure, mechanical function and the reliability of the equipment.

A construction engineer is a civil engineer who oversees the design and building process of construction projects. These professionals work to ensure buildings, projects and construction teams are safe. They may also help design infrastructure systems, such as roads, dams, water supply systems and buildings

• Undertake all stages of Projects, from start to end.
• Calculate quantity of material for the whole project.
• Timely coordination and follow up with the Plumber/ Main-contractor or Consultant.
• Preparation of Shop Drawings, Beam Penetration Drawing.

As a GQ (Global Quality) Package Reliability Process Engineer, you will be responsible to setup new product package reliability requirement. This includes board level reliability to emulate customer PCB design. As process engineer, you are required to ensure the process control during package reliability and establish procedures to the operation team for execution. Process improvement is also required to ensure cost and productivity gain.

Coordinating with various functional parties and ensuring the reliability process is compliance to industrial standards such like JEDEC and this will not limit to Micron specification. Additionally, you will respond to inquiries from internal and external customers as a subject matter expert for package reliability activities.

• To work with engineering team for enablement of new product (NPI)
• Ensure hardware readiness for package reliability process like Temperature Cycling, HAST, HTS and etc.
• Modify and improve reliability process for existing products

Evaluate and Improve Processes, Materials, and/or Equipment

• Identify, investigate, and document process deviations.
• Troubleshoot process deviations using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform risk assessment at all decision points within the qualification cycle
• Develop Process Reliability Methodology and Qualification

Lead development/improvement of Process, Equipment and/or Material

• Establish engineering evaluation (DOE)
• Identify factors that impact process quality and propose solutions
• Identify and evaluate interactions between equipment, processes and resolve potential issues
• Identify and implement equipment process control methods
• Develop process limits and capabilities (CpK) and lead process improvement

Introduction of New Process and Process Changes to Operation

• Implement new standard to align with changes of industrial standard for reliability process procedure.
• Conduct training/briefing for operation team on operation procedures
• Develop process reliability tests to assess new process failure mechanisms
• Ensure that test methodology follows industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC)
• Define process sampling plan and instruction.
