The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department of National University of Singapore (NUS) is looking for applicants for research engineer positions to support 3D-IC package fault localisation and failure analysis (FA) techniques with ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). • Selection for cable, circuit breaker, transformers, UPS, VFD, generator.
• Supervise electrical Installation, testing and commissioning.
• Preparation of project documents including technical proposal, load list, cable schedule, cable routing, switch-room layout, load flow, etc.
• Prepare the BQ for the RFQ.
• Fault and short circuit study, harmonic analysis.
• Preparing specifications and datasheet for RFQ and review offers from vendors for compliance to technical specification, compliance with codes and regulation.
• Prepare documentation for submission and supporting project team on plant start-up, performance test, and optimization.
• Perform the cable sizing calculation and the voltage drop calculation.
• Supervise electrical Installation, testing and commissioning

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic engineering.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in process plants or in the water/wastewater industry, with good knowledge in electrical desgin of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks.

· Ability to resolve application problems of a normal complexity by occasionally seeking the assistance from experienced Application Engineer.

· Ability to recommend solutions to customers.

· Provide training to customers when required.

· May supervise a less experienced service on a task related to the preventive maintenance, repair and/or installation of Machine.
