A structural formwork designer in the construction industry plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient design of temporary structures required for concrete placement. 1. Design formwork systems (aluminium formwork and system formwork) to support concrete structures (slabs, beams, columns, walls, etc.) during construction.
2. Ensure designs adhere to engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
3. Select appropriate materials (e.g., plywood, aluminium, steel) based on project specifications.
4. Perform structural analysis to determine load capacities, deflection limits, and stability of formwork systems.
5. Ensure designs can withstand live loads, dead loads, and environmental factors (wind, vibration, etc.).
6. Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to align formwork designs with construction schedules and site conditions.
7. Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to integrate formwork designs with overall project plans.
8. Ensure formwork designs meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
9. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with formwork installation and removal.
10. Optimize the use of formwork materials to minimize costs and waste.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to load-bearing structures and construction methods.
• At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field.
• Required Skill(s): AutoCAD.

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and access control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on data centre equipment and systems.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Liaise with the building landlord to coordinate maintenance schedules, address building infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.

• Follow documented incident response procedures, track incidents to closure, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Generate reports to management, including monthly performance reports, incident summaries, root cause analyses, and status reports on ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data centre facility management.
• Experience working in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
• Experience with fire suppression systems and access control systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have prior experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions.

The Asst Engineer / Engineer should have broad technical skills and a working background in the System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines, Radio Communications, basic networking skills, computer/servers, embedded systems and/or UPS.

Responsibilities:

Involve in one or more teams in supporting and maintaining systems, keep them up and running smoothly

Report to the Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager and in fulfilling SLA and KPI in accordance to maintenance contractual agreement.

Assist Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract obligation within budget.

Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.

To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of equipment/module/component at sites and/or workshop.

Liaison with procurement and equipment vendors.

Perform 24/7 off-site standby for fault activation after office hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent (candidates with lesser academic qualifications may be considered)
