You will be tasked to:

• Manage a portfolio of key clients who are largely global commodity traders
• Performing KYC and compliance related activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Increasing the wallet share by growing and cross-selling into other product lines (capital markets, advisory, transaction banking and etc.).
• Manage liaison and negotiations with all internal and external stakeholders, such as with the clients, lawyers, credit division, operations team and more.
• Ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio management
• Participate in any business meetings or discussions when necessary.

skills & experience required

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or comparable
• Has 10+ years of relevant experience dealing with global commodity traders as a coverage banker
• A background in Trade Commodity Finance (TCF) would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Position Objective The purpose of the Finance Executive is to:

● Contribute to the team’s function and success within Australian International School and Brighton College Singapore.

● Ensure internal procedures are adhered to, including being compliant around the maintenance and security of financial records.

● Ensure all data entry and accounts receivable tasks are completed accurately

Responsibilities

● Handling of all customer queries and outstanding receivables.

● Competent performance of customer account reconciliation.

● Initiate the collections of overdue accounts.

● Check and process customer refunds and dishonored cheques promptly.

● Maintain accounts receivable files and records.

● Monitor and maintain outstanding payments.

● Prepare weekly and monthly schedules.

● Provide the status of the Account Receivable Report.

● Other duties as determined in consultation with the Director of Finance and the Finance Manager, or such persons as the school may designate.
