• Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application etc.
• Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.
• Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment. Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed.
• For project where there is an impact, play a governance role in ensuring that the design (in terms of the level of information required from source to core processing is aligned with the strategic data flow strategy.
• Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team
• Actively partnering with the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are thought through from a long term, standardization, design for no operations, front-end configuration perspective.
• Assess and propose appropriate testing approach and sign off criteria to stakeholders and get concurrence.
• Overall UAT management in terms of UAT timeline, batch run/ re-run and managing the tester’s testing result.
• Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

a. Analyse business needs, scope the problem and develop business case to address the problem

b. Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution

c. Design, write and maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications and deliver working software applications

d. Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

e. Prepare architectural and other technical documents

f. Assist BA on user stories elaboration

g. Assist QA on test automation and bug fixes

h. Assist DevOps on build and release automation

i. Work with users to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution

j. Assess business needs for service requests and the impact of enhancements to the system

k. Assess problem resolution approach and implement effective service recovery of ICT incidents and establish systems and processes to prevent recurrence of the same incident

l. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills

a. Experience with version control systems such as Git

b. Experience in front end technologies such as Angular

c. Experience in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js

d. Experience in low code application platforms will be preferred

e. Hands-on experience in at least 1 full project development life cycles

f. Working experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantage

Key Accountabilities:

1) Active data management – maintain and update LP database, investor portal and proactively manage global FM database, folders and software solutions

2) Prepare general and fund-specific marketing materials, investor presentations, fund management board meeting packs and fact sheets

3) Support in various fundraising initiatives, due diligence requests, and ad hoc strategic projects

4) Consolidate and prepare quarterly global fund management reporting materials, including AUM, track record and fund KPIs for decision making purposes

5) Liaise with internal groups with respect to monitoring ongoing financial performance and understanding KPIs of existing real estate and private equity funds

6) Conduct research and perform competitor benchmarking analysis against industry peers

7) Assist in establishing internal processes and streamlining operational procedures to enhance global fund management platform

Requirements:

1) University degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics

2) 1-2 years’ relevant experience, preferably within real estate/private equity/data analytics. Fresh graduates may be considered

3) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

5) Must be fluent in English, ability to speak other languages a plus

6) Strong project management skills and detail oriented

7) Self-motivated, team player

8) Demonstrate good judgement in high pressure and fast-paced work situations
