Our client is a public listed insurance company. In Singapore for more than 50 years with exceptional financial security rating. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

• Develop in-depth understanding of financial results and support the analysis of the company’s financial performance and identify any anomalies, generating meaningful commentaries to provide actionable insights to management
• Contribute to the preparation and production of risk reports (i.e. ORSA report)
• Preparation and documentation of stress tests and scenario analyses
• Support and ensure timely submission of quarterly group reporting
• Support and ensure timely submission of quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory reports and tax reporting
• Active collaboration with management and both internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives of processes and automation projects
• Any other ad hoc assignments and projects

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting and/ or relevant professional qualifications
• 4-5 years’ relevant work experience in the (re)insurance industry
• Good technical competencies of IFRS and of insurance accounting principles
• Good knowledge and experience in reporting under ACRA, MAS, and IRAS regulatory reporting experience in a (re)insurance company in Singapore
• Intermediate/ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience working with GL systems is good to have
• Resilient, able to work independently & in a team, and initiative
