Job Description: Finance and Operations Executive (SIAS)

Job Summary:

The Finance and Operations Executive will play a critical role in managing the financial and operational processes of the Seafood Industries Association Singapore (SIAS). This role involves overseeing bookkeeping, tracking expenses and revenue, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Executive will support administrative tasks and assist in planning and executing member events. Working closely with the Executive Director and other team members, the Finance and Operations Executive will contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the association. Key Responsibilities:

Finance and Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including monthly closing, P&L preparation, and financial reporting.

About the Department:

The Group Finance Corporate Services (GFCS) has established a Business Risk & Control Management (BRCM) function to strengthen its operational risk management practices. A critical part of the BRCM mandate is to conduct independent control testing on key processes, identifying issues early and enhancing operational controls as needed. GENERAL OVERVIEW

The incumbent will be involved in corporate treasury and finance functions including optimisation of the company's working capital, foreign exchange management, back office confirmation and settlement activities, and treasury reporting. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
