Website User Behaviour Documentation:
• Analyse and document the current user journey on the website, identifying key touchpoints, user interactions, and behaviours.
• Map out website features and functionalities, including forms, navigation flows, and user inputs.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and development teams to gather additional insights and ensure documentation accurately reflects the user experience.
• Identify areas for process improvements based on observed user behaviour and document recommendations for optimization.
API Behaviour Documentation:
• Document existing API functionality, including endpoints, request/response structures, authentication, and error handling.
• Work with technical teams to analyse API behaviour, identify dependencies, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation outlining how APIs interact with the website and other systems.
• Work with developers to identify gaps or issues in API functionality and document solutions or improvements.
Vendor Requirement Clarification:
• Set up and manage calls with external vendors to clarify requirements for integration, functionality, and data exchange related to the website and APIs.
• Develop a clear agenda for vendor calls and ensure that all relevant questions are addressed during meetings.
• Document and communicate vendor responses and requirements clearly to internal stakeholders, ensuring proper alignment.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve any ambiguities or discrepancies and ensure that all technical requirements are captured accurately.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with internal teams, including product owners, developers, QA, and UX/UI designers, to gather insights and ensure alignment on website and API requirements.
• Provide clear, detailed documentation that is easy to understand by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as the point of contact between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth communication and effective problem-solving.
• Ensure that all documentation is regularly updated to reflect changes in user behaviour, website features, and API functionality.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on web and API documentation.
- Strong experience working with external vendors to clarify requirements and document technical specifications.
- Proven track record of creating clear, concise, and detailed documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with documenting API integrations, web behaviours, and user flows.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, RESTful services, etc.).
- Proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar platforms). Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger, and knowledge of common API protocols (REST, SOAP).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to analyse and document user behaviour.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
