Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close for GL, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, conduct financial analysis, and complete audit schedules.
• Provide guidance to AR/AP teams on appropriate GL and GST code classifications.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to manage audit and tax compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights to the Group Accountant.
• Draft financial statements and manage XBRL filings, working closely with the company secretary.

What this job involves:

Managing financial operations

As a Finance Account Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing critical financial operations. You'll maintain accounting and control procedures in line with client's policies, prepare annual budgets, monitor budget utilisation, and provide variance analysis. Your role will be crucial in managing the collection of maintenance and sinking funds, as well as ensuring timely processing and payment of vendor invoices.

Handling accounts receivable and payable

You'll be responsible for the timely processing and posting of invoices for quarterly maintenance contributions, annual berthing, and license fees. This includes generating accurate customer invoices, monitoring outstanding debts, and updating payments promptly. Financial reporting and analysis

• Provide timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
