The Role

Reporting to the Fund Controller, you will be managing the fund(s) and be responsible for the review of fund accounting, financial and management accounting performed by outsourced services providers; work with tax agent on tax compliance matters, cash management, fund administration and corporate governance and assist in streamlining of process and participate in a-hoc projects.

Your Profile

You should be a qualified accountant with at least 6 years relevant experience in the real estate sector. You should be a self-starter and able to think critically. Ability to function independently, solve problems and good stakeholder management are critical to succeed in this role.

We are looking for high performance individuals to join our Finance and Admin Senior Executive as part of our team to manage finance, accounting and HR.

Candidate with prior experience in managing GST submission, full set of account is preferred.

Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated Finance and HR Executive. You have the chance to be one of our core team to implement systems and procedures to corportise our business.

Our business includes a retail segment with 2 retail chains selling fast moving consumer goods and religious products, a property rental segment and a direct selling segment.

Responsibilities:

Accounting, General Admin Functions

• Responsible for the full set accounts and day-to-day accounting.
• Perform bookkeeping general ledger, AP, cash management, and bank reconciliation
• Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
• Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns
• Process payments to suppliers
• Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents
• Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments.

HR Functions

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR function
• Responsible in payroll process, claims expenses, and other related matters
• Manage recruitment cycle including sourcing, arrange for interview, and salary proposal
• Process Work pass application, renewable and cancellation
• Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to cancellation, renewal, new coverage of insurances

Requirements:

• ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Possess knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
• Self -motivated. well organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task

There is currently an open position for an IT Helpdesk Analyst.

• The purpose is to handle emails, phone calls and provide remote assistance: IT helpdesk first-level support. To provide technical support to Chinese-speaking end-users. Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is a must.
• Call Center experience is advantageous
• Basic experience with IT troubleshooting

Primary Responsibilities (regular frequency):

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities include preparation of month-end schedules (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Fixed Assets, Inter-company reconciliations, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and other financial reports required by Management
• Responsible for the processing of staff claims and vendor payments in an accurate and timely manner
• Liaise with various stakeholders on operational accounting issues, financial accounts, regulatory filings and other matters where necessary
• Liaise with auditors on annual audit of financial statements of assigned companies
• Liaise with banks on facilities and other banking matters
• Assist in the design and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”) to enhance the efficiency of finance processes
• Assist with Finance Operations matters (check accuracy of sales transactions and perform transaction reconciliation, verify accuracy of sales commissions, transaction clawbacks, etc.)
• Handle other ad-hoc operational and finance tasks that may be assigned

Secondary Responsibilities (irregular frequency) include assisting the Head of Finance on financial matters for the GB Group (including its subsidiaries). Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Assist in co-ordination with external auditor, corporate secretary, landlords, lawyers, tax agent and other consultants as and when necessary.
• Establish, review and improve accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
• Assist in Finance Transformation tasks such as system implementation, process improvements and tasks re-allocation.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and corporate actions as and when necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Minimally 2 to 3 years' of experience in Accounting
• Possess a relevant Accounting diploma or degree
• Pro-active, committed and motivated individual who is meticulous, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Working experience with accounting software systems is preferred
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Pleasant and courteous attitude, with strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment (start-up experience is a plus)
• Ability to work independently

Job Description

• To provide Support full spectrum finance duties, including but not limited to procurement, payments, accounts receivables
• To provide grant management administration, such as grant claims, progress report’s financial reporting and other grant variation request.
• To provide administrative support, such as assets management, filing, phone enquiries, mails collections, stationery orders, etc
• To provide finance and administrative support for Annual Meeting and assist in pre and post event activities
• To assist in other finance or administrative functions as and when required by team

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Administration, Accounting or Finance, and minimum 2 years of work experiences
• Positive working attitude
• Good organization and communication skills
• Experience in SAP HANA, Ariba
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application like Excel, Word, Teams, DocuSign and online communication application is an added advantage
