Job Purpose

This is a strategic front office position providing structuring and analysis support for further growth of SPDA-SSG (Securitisation Group) business platform / product suite across Asia Pacific. Principal Responsibilities

The Technology team sits under the Chief Information Officer who reports to the Country Chief Operating Officer. This job is part of the CIO's team providing oversight of the risk and control environment across Technology and the Singapore market. The job is particularly critical with the increased regulatory focus on Technology and Cybersecurity (TCS) risks, as well as technology and operational resiliency, as evidenced by the heightened regulatory expectations in recent months.

This job acts as a First Line of Defence and ensures the Bank operates within its risk appetite by providing specialist risk and control knowledge and insights, promoting risk and control monitoring and decision-making.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Non-financial Risk management –ensure that the Risk Framework is appropriately used for decision making; encourage best practices that ensure all procedures are well documented and regulatory policies are up to date and encourage evaluation of the design effectiveness of the Risk Framework to ensure the promotion of continuous improvement

• Evaluate and examine credit limits for customers/factors promptly, or implement limits from trade credit insurer/import factors efficiently.
• Prepare notification letters and update records in the system.
• Conduct debt verification and overdue management to control risk and support funding.
• Manage periodic reporting and all aspects of credit insurance, including payments for limit application fees and premiums.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance/Business/Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of credit assessment and credit control management experience.
• Familiar with Trade Credit Insurance and FCI’s GRIF rules.

Role Description:

Based in Singapore, reporting to the Regional Finance Director (RFD) for Asia located in Hong Kong, the Finance Manager (FM) will be responsible for the financial side of the business in Singapore/Malaysia with a dotted line to the Country Mgrs of Singapore and Malaysia
