Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

Corporate Bank Technology understands the client’s needs and has a robust strategy and innovative approach to deliver.
Trade Finance & Lending: Trade Finance Technology is responsible for the application development for international documentary payments, ie collections, letters of credit, guarantees, foreign trade financing for corporate clients and institutional investors, for both importers and exporters. Product examples include: unstructured and structured trade finance, loan and credit distribution solutions

Your key responsibilities:
As part of our global team you will work on various components as a Lead Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, as well as the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development concepts and Cloud concepts.
- Ownership and oversee development of application in alignment with the target architecture as per Domain and Enterprise Architecture blueprint.
- Provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
- Engage with business to understand the high-level requirements and propose the solution.
- Engage with Functional Analysts to help them in putting the right functional solution.
- Develop the high-level solution & design documents for all requirements.
- Validate all the NFR expected as part of business requirement is met in the actual implementation.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented.
- Coding and testing, reviewing other team member’s changes.
- Engage with production support team to resolve any critical issue.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant SDLC experience working on project implementation in financial industry.
- Hands on Experience in Traydstream product implementation.
- Hands-on experience on software development in Java 8 and exposure to functional reactive programming.
- Hands-on experience working on cloud native applications on platforms such as Kubernetes, Azure, Redhat Openshift
- Knowledge on the Distributed Messaging platform such as Apache Kafka.
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the DevOps tools such as Git Hub, Jenkins, Team City etc.
- Experience in Business-Driven development methodology and knowledge of BDD frameworks such as JBehave or Cucumber.
- Hand on Experience on API build and Integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience building Microservices including writing Unit and Integration tests using Spring Boot, Cloud, and other relevant frameworks.
- Understanding and Hands-on experience in applying the Event Driven Pattern of microservices such as CQRS.
- Hands-on experience working on cloud native applications on platforms such as Kubernetes, Azure, Redhat Open shift.
- Experience in Cloud deployments.
- Knowledge on usage and deployment of AI/ML models in GCP.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Technology or Programming & Systems Analysis or Science (Computer Studies).
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
