Role:
We are looking for a multi-disciplinary Creative Designer to join Consumer Banking Group’s in-house creative team. You will bring your keen eye for visual aesthetics to help create effective marketing campaigns for both our Retail and Wealth Banking segments. Responsibilities:
1. You will work independently or with an in-house copywriter to creatively solve communication and design challenges.
2. You will flex your proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite to translate creative concepts into impactful visuals across owned and paid channels through data storytelling, motion graphics, videos/storyboarding, wireframing, etc.
3. In addition to origination work, you will be tasked to adapt, iterate, and optimise creative assets for our websites, eDMs, branch collaterals, digital banners, social channels, etc.
4. You will be an advocate for consistent and high-quality design, ensuring all creative work you produce is in line with brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
5. Our high-volume environment means you will be managing multiple projects at the same time while prioritising them to ensure you meet tight deadlines.
6. You will be expected to keep up to date with the latest industry trends and proactively bring fresh ideas to help meet marketing goals and business needs.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an agency and/or in-house creative team.
2. Have a strong portfolio that demonstrates work across multiple design disciplines and platforms.
3. A conceptual thinker with strong design aesthetics and expertise in storytelling, digital imaging, infographics, typography, animation, and motion graphics.
4. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects); web design and front-end development (HTML5, CSS,); Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, RunwayML, etc.); Microsoft Office 365.
5. Working knowledge on UI/UX, wireframing and publishing tools (Figma, Google Web Designer, DoubleClick Studio) is a plus.
6. Fine digital craftsmanship and strong understanding of design processes.
7. Clear oral and written communication skills to present and articulate concepts, designs and rationales.
8. Excellent project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
9. Self-motivated, driven individual with a growth mindset.
10. A great team player who can collaborate effectively with team members and key stakeholders in a large-scale matrix organisation.
11. Prior experience in the financial industry is preferred but not required.
12. Ability to illustrate will be a plus.
