This role will report to the Group Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for group monthly closing processes, group consolidation, financial reporting, variance analysis, annual audit and tax compliance

· Prepare materials for Board meetings and SGX/HQ results announcements

· Group budgeting and forecast processes

· Oversee and coordinate the preparation of Group’s annual report

· Provide guidance to local and overseas subsidiaries on accounting and financial reporting matters

· Review audit findings and ensure that all matters are addressed or resolved promptly

· Liaise with external/internal auditors and external service providers

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group financial and treasury policies, listing requirement and internal controls

· Support in preparation, review and monitoring of group cashflow forecasts

· Support any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may be assigned

Requirements

· Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy

· Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience with at least 3 years in managerial role and/or SGX reporting

· Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)

· Familiar and hands-on experience with finance system implementation is an added advantage

· Good business acumen and strong with numbers and financial discipline

· Committed, proactive and hands-on team player and with an eye for details

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage different stakeholders

Monthly Salary

S$6,000 – S$9,000

· Manage General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset, and Inventory functions.

· Prepare and post journal entries for month-end financial close.

· Conduct variance and trend analysis at the entity level.

· Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing, as well as quarterly reporting.

· Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve operational issues.

· Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules.

· Handle quarterly GST submissions and respond to inquiries from external bodies.

· Support the annual budgeting process.

· Manage audit and tax matters for the entity.
