Responsibilities

• Conduct professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling sessions with customers to address their financial needs and objectives.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships by providing regular updates on market information and trend analysis related to local and international financial products.
• Collaborate with the PB team manager, branch manager, or PTL to create monthly plans aimed at achieving or exceeding sales targets for new business and customer acquisition.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities focused on customer acquisition.
• Source and reach out to individual prospects.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient after-sales services.
• Manage client retention and minimize attrition.
• Organize and conduct sales presentations for groups, clubs, associations, companies, and other organizations.
• Comply with all relevant money laundering prevention procedures, including reporting any suspicious activities to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education and relevant CMFAS certification.
• At least 1 year of sales experience.

The Role 

As a Finance Manager at Refract Technologies, you’ll be overseeing the accounting and financial operations across multiple subsidiaries and ensuring the group’s financial stability. Working closely with the management team, you will develop and implement financial strategies, as well as provide financial insights and analysis for them to make informed business decisions. You will also be responsible for managing the financial team and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities 

• Monitor the day-to-day and month-end financial and accounting operations within the group. 

• Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies. 

• Prepare consolidated quarterly management report.

• Execute accurate reporting such as monthly and quarterly management reporting, to analyse options and make financial recommendations. 

• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership. 

• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests. 

• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems. 

• Oversee and drive Cash Flow Forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory financial requirements and accounting policies by constantly keeping up to date with existing and new legislation. 

• Strengthening current internal control and process improvement.

• Manage a team of finance executives to manage all accounting procedures for account results. 

• Manage smooth Corporate Tax Filing.

• Oversee GST Review (Quarterly).

Skills and Experience Required 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;  

• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis 

• Knowledge of consolidated financial reporting 

• Experience using accounting software such as SAP or XERO 

• Knowledge on inventory accounting 

Bonus 

• Experience working in a gaming or technology industry 

• CPA certification 

• eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) Preparations and Filing 

• Corp Sec Experience 

Expectations of an Assistant Finance Manager

• Perform monthly, quarterly, annual financial close with high accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure that all management reports submitted within deadline. Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to be carried out with insightful analysis and developing process to ensure quality reporting variances to be fully explained
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring that the numbers are reliable, stable and accurate.
• Strong partnership with the commercial finance team on the full spectrum of financial planning and analysis.
• Working with internal and external auditors, ensuring policies compliance in place.
• Manage internal reporting requirements on various basis.
