GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) is a key member of the team within Private Banking. He/she supports the Relationship Manager (RM) and Team Head (TH) in daily operations, administration, client care and relationship management. The ARM interacts with internal as well as external stakeholders, provides clients with relevant information and supports the RM in implementing customized solutions in all tasks related to the delivery of excellent service to the clients. •  At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
•  Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
•  Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial databases).

Responsibilties

Budgeting and Forecasting:

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
•  Assist in the prepare on of budget guidelines, assumptions, and templates.
•  Review and analyse budget proposals, identifying risks and opportunities.
•  Monitor budget performance, prepare variance reports, and provide explanations for budget deviations.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
•  Gather and analyse financial data to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
•  Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actuals analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•  Monitor and track financial metrics, such as profitability, liquidity, and other ratios, and provide recommendations for improvement.
•  Manage Capex process including budget, commitment and actual tracking with variance analysis.
•  Support cashflow management.
• Financial Modelling and Decision Support:
•  Build financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
•  Evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment (ROI) of new projects or business ventures.
•  Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial modelling and analysis.
• Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
•  Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial systems and processes.
•  Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements.
•  Participate in the implementation and testing of financial systems and tools.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP financial systems (S4 HANA) and analytical tools (eg. Power BI) would be an advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
