• Initiate business dialogue on International business with Chinese companies at subsidiary level to drive strategic revenue opportunities. When meeting clients, demonstrate sound understanding of local regulations, distinctive product features and credit related issues

• In conjunction with Compliance department, to implement the Group Compliance Policy by containing compliance risk in conjunction with the relevant compliance department. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

Knowledge and Experience/Qualification:

• First-hand experience and knowledge of working in China including strong business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues

Position Overview

The Associate – Corporate Finance, plays a pivotal role in executing financial advisory transactions, contributing to the origination of new opportunities, and facilitating various business activities. These transactions primarily involve debt and equity raising, debt restructuring, and M&A within the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research.
• Assist in the execution of debt raising and M&A advisory transactions, including performing financial analysis and firm valuation, managing the due diligence process, and preparing meeting materials.
• Create and/or work with complex financial models which support the analysis of companies. This will frequently require creating detailed proforma models.
