Devops Engineer (Banking / Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Migrate on-premises infrastructure to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and other security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance, monitoring, and logging using GCP tools like Stackdriver and Cloud Monitoring.
• Stay up-to-date with GCP innovations and best practices, applying expertise to continuously improve cloud architecture.

Requirements:

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect certification.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, migration, and deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics concepts.
