Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing billing and finance support
• Preparing client invoices and filing invoices in client's e-billing systems
• Preparing expense and disbursement claims
• Maintaining the firm's financial records
• Assisting with the firm's GST filings
• Assisting with the firm's corporate tax filings

Requirements:

• Prior experience handling the above responsibilities in a law firm
• Prior experience with billing and practice management systems/software
• Higher Nitec, GCE 'O', 'A' levels or Diploma
• Prior experience working for partners or directors in a law firm preferred
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ensure accurate and timely financial management to enhance company profitability and return on investment. Coordinate with shared services for day-to-day financial operations, maintaining proper accounting records, and meeting reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly/quarterly/yearly closing for timely and accurate financial accounting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily trading PNL for assigned desk and close the trading P/L on a timely basis. This includes preparation of journal entries for accounting team to book.
• Review and validate daily freight payable transactions in accounting system for accurate and timely payments.
• Update futures/options margin accounts breakdown by desk, per broker statement.

Experiences:

• 1-2 years of experience in Product Control/Business Analysis/Management Accounting/Audit/FP&A from shipping/commodities industries preferred.
• Good understanding of futures markets, hedging and derivatives mechanisms.

You will be responsible for end-to-end audit function, including projects across applications, infrastructure, information security, cybersecurity and digital risk. Job Description

• Assist with the preparation of weekly flash report.
• Prepare monthly P&L statements for the assigned services. Ensure team members complete the monthly closing for their services on time.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of monthly reports to the management. These include regional P&L, commentaries, actual vs. flash variance analysis, actual vs. budget gap analysis, etc...

• Ensure efficient and effective operation of disbursements process – include ensuring disbursements are checked for accuracy, relevant supporting documents are submitted and verified, disputes are resolved promptly, monthly reconciliations are prepared and discrepancies are followed up, and any advances given are accounted for/ recovered timely.
• Identify areas of improvements to existing processes/ systems. Take on lead role in system implementation/ improvement projects.
