• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and corporate activities including financial and management reporting, portfolio review, cash flow management, treasury and taxation matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors in Accounting/Finance and professional qualifications (CPA, CFA).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in FP&A, as a financial controller or as a professional accountant for a large organization.
• Strong Accounting background and a good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, local tax rules, GST principles and compliance and reporting requirements

The Finance Manager has an overall responsibility in ensuring the Accounts/Finance team can meet inter-department requirements and smooth, effective operations. This will include assisting management in ensuring stakeholder' compliance, data collection and performing analysis for decision-making.

• Team Management- - Manage a team of accounts/finance and ensures monthly books for the Singapore/Malaysia and Australia entity is in order
• Conflict Management and problem resolution - Identify, solve issues the team faces so the team can operate effectively
• Consolidation of quarterly accounts - Prepare consolidated accounts for management or stakeholders
• Audit and tax compliance - Work with auditors and tax agents and ensure compliance
• Compliance to rules and regulations - Ensure regulatory requirements is met for the entire group
• Workflow management - Review and redesign internal processes within the team due to organization changes
• Data collection and compliance - Required by Management, consolidate data from various sources for management
• Coordination between management and external stakeholders - Manage and coordinate communications between external stakeholders (banks, corporate secretary, auditors, tax agents, government agencies etc) and submit completed documents
• Holding company matters - As instructed by the Chief of Staff, assist in matters relating to the holding company/head office
• Chargebacks resolutions – Review chargebacks, pre-empt chargebacks and report
  to authorities for fraud scams
• Balance sheet optimisation: recommend and implement best practices for optimising the company's balance sheet including FX hedging, interest rate hedging, cash management etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare term sheet, pitchbook and structure credit facilities to pitch for syndicated loan mandates.
• Conduct market analysis to support underwriting, distribution and secondary sell-down off syndicated loans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review risk policies/guidelines/procedures and develop governance and management processes, including limit setting, methodology and assumption reviews that commensurate to the Bank's risk appetite.

• Prepare and participate in company board meetings and financial reviews (twice a year)

Job Requirements:

• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications such as Degree in Accounting or Business management and/or Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years in relevant field preferably with Automotive experience
• Good knowledge of SAP GAAP and Taxation laws.
• Strong planning, process set-up, interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate with MS Office.
• Fluent English language, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of German advantage, to commuicate with the stakeholders in HQ
