Job Description of Insurance Cum Admin Assistant
· To provide insurance quotations and process motor, insurance applications, renewals, extension or cancellation.
· Issuance of insurance documents for all general insurance including scanning and filing.
· To handle reports of claims damage.
· Process with written claims and to gather additional information as needed.
· When accident occurred, acquires a copy of the police report and gather facts concerning the accident like any injuries or property damage or cargoes damage.
· To be able to explain the claims management process.
· Coordinate inspections and processing claim paperwork.
· Responsible for assessing and documenting damage.
· To communicate independently with internal/external parities.
· Liaise with surveyor or relevant parties.
· Documentation to maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims and ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Maintain organised filling systems for both electronic and physical documents.
· To ensure all claims update are up to date till close case.
· To perform other administrative task as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements/Skills
· GCE ‘O’ levels, Diploma and Graduates are welcome to apply.
· Certified in insurance will be an added advantage.
· Strong negotiation skills with insurance company and suppliers.
· Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for a role handling insurance claims damage report.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
· Independent with minimal supervision is required.
· Well-organised and able to multi task.
· Strong in Microsoft Words, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Transportation, medical card, dental card and lunch are provided.
· Location at West.
