Job responsibilities:

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Develop expert knowledge pertaining to derivatives regulatory requirements, processes and systems for a number of transactions and position based Regulatory reports
• Oversee the implementation efforts of new rules or changes within existing obligations
• Provide oversight of the impact assessments done on these reports for new markets, new products, business reorganizations, system changes and new/changed regulations

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

WHAT WE DO

Engineers in the Marquee Market Data team play an integral role on the trading floor and within Marquee. We are a cross-asset team that work closely with the desks to source and distribute market data used in pricing and risk for the firm and its clients. We build complex parallel computing architectures that power pricing, and market making that help run the firm’s core businesses. We also build strategic modelling frameworks and trader marking tools that help desks create market data for the firm. YOUR IMPACT

As a Market Data Engineer, you will be building the foundational technologies that source and distribute market data for markets around the world. Job Responsibilities:

• To assist in issuing invoices to customers using ERP system for Singapore & overseas subsidiaries on timely manner.
• To assist in recording AR receipts into the accounting system and to ensure all AR collection is up to date.
• To generate payment vouchers to vendors so that AP schedule is according to the payment cycle.

Job requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, and experience in group accounting will be an added advantage.
• Must know how to do full sets of accounts, and knowledge in consolidation experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge in Singapore tax, audit and accounting laws, practices and regulations.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and is able to identity errors in financial reporting.

Trade Finance

• Apply for credit lines to banks when appropriate.
• Manage the term sheet discussion for new credit facilities & negotiation on the terms and conditions and pricing with the banks.
• Negotiate & coordinate with banks for financing transactions and ensuring that the deals are followed through. e.g. LC Issuance.
• Coordinate with banks on loans repayment, and ensuring timely repayment of loans.
• Ensure sound working capital management and optimal utilization of the credit facilities.
• Maintaining strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Ensure financial security for each shipment is in good order before giving the approval to load/discharge.
• Work closely with the Structured Trade Finance team on structured trade transactions.
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms and credit policies.

Treasury

• Daily settlements and reconciliations of the financial instruments including FX, money market, interest rates, etc. Handle documentations such as ISDA and credit support agreements, and ensuring the daily settlement and confirmation of the financial instruments. Manage ad hoc change processes and various interface operational projects.
• Verify and make payment for subsidiaries.
• Responsible in obtaining receipts and issuing receipts voucher.
• Perform Bank Accounts opening and closing.
• Receive bank statements from banks.
• Perform check on daily bank balances
• Obtain bank charges and interest and preparation of ledger
• Perform as cashier for petty cash.
• Cash flow management and forecasting of cash flow
• Verify that incoming/outgoing payments are made on time

Requirements:

• 5 years relevant working experiences in Corporate Treasury, Banking or Commodities Trading industries.
