• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA)
• At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience and ideally with prior audit experience with public accounting firm, or commercial experience with financial reporting at group level, job position offered is depending on the qualification and experience

We are looking for a strategic FInance Manager to oversee our financial operations and report directly to the CFO. This role requires a proactive leader to develop and implement financial strategies that align with our company goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Administration

• Oversee the finance department and accounting systems.
• Coordinate audits and ensure proper filing of tax returns.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure timely reporting of management accounts, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, GAAP, and local laws.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial planning reports, including profit and loss and cash flow forecasts.

Treasury Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning and investment management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of accounting systems and tax regulations.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Good Leadership and communication skills.

Technical Skills:

• Have good knowledge and working experience in using M365, a good grasp of Outlook, Excel, SharePoint.
• Advance knowledge/skills of MS Excel formulas and functions is a must.
• Have working experience and advance understanding of SAP system (PEMS) would be a plus.

Requirements and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance/Business Management or related field.
• Preferably 1+ year relevant experience in a Finance Institution, Audit or Consultancy firm.
• Fresh grads with relevant internship experience in Finance, Audit or Consultancy may apply.

Essential:

• Above average Excel skills (Advance formulas, pivot tables, power query, building of reporting dashboard). Strong in data analysis using excel.
• Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Attention to details. Understand the importance of data discipline.
• Willing to learn attitude.
• Able to handle confidential data in a professional manner.
• Good experience in managing/responsible/implementing business process improvement.
• Experienced as a PMO support in Bank Projects will be a plus.
