Responsibilities and Duties:
Support in financial operation management:

• Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment
  arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules,
  fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and handle AR, AP, GL function.
• Prepare and manage group intercompany balance and transaction matrix.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.
• Prepare corporate tax filings and GST tax matters.
• Support treasury function.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accountancy / finance/ LCCI
• 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in corporate tax and GST tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Ms. Excel is a must.
• Proficiency in SAP ByD is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Meticulous, proactive, resourceful, and self-driven with positive mindset
• Good understanding of local GST regulations and accounting practices

Duties:

• Responsible for bottom-up fundamental analysis and due diligence of companies and industries in order to make investment recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to form an independent opinion.
• High degree of proficiency with understanding and analyzing financial statements.
• Monitor sector, market and economic conditions and assess their impact on portfolios.
• Conduct ongoing due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies.
• Communicate investment ideas effectively and prepare presentation materials for investment committee meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in a related field.
• Additional professional certifications (e.g. CFA) would be a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in the finance or investment industry, preferably in asset and wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of investing and financial markets, particularly in the equity asset class.
• Previous experience with developed markets equities and derivatives would be an advantage
