Key Responsibilities

• Manage part of the accounts payable process.
• Assist in preparing GST filings.
• Help the Head of Finance with month-end closing and reports.
• Handle daily accounting tasks like payments and entering supplier invoices promptly.
• Reconcile accounts on time.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee outsourced bookkeeping and operational accounting processes to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with company policies.
• Act as the primary liaison with external bookkeeping providers, reviewing work and ensuring timely closing activities.
• Prepare to transition these responsibilities in-house, including coordinating with the finance team on training, processes, and system setup for SAP S4 Hana.
• Following the SAP S4 Hana implementation, manage day-to-day operational accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Oversee and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency with company/group standards.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with the analysis of financial results. Provide support in the preparation of management reports and budgets.
• Serve as a backup to the primary consolidation lead, supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Prepare and support internal and external audits by coordinating documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Provide guidance to accounting staff.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial accounting experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in handling GST and corporate tax matters.
• Experience in using SAP Concur and SAP S4 Hana or similar ERP systems preferred.
