Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and Maintain Bookkeeping Standards:
  Develop and establish accounting standards for Singapore and other overseas entities, to ensure the compliance with local and group financial reporting and tax filing needs.
• Accounting Automation Management:
  Identify and prioritize automation needs, lead the automation and implementation of financial systems from 0 to 1.
• Financial Reporting:
  Review Singapore's accounts and handle comprehensive accounting matters for other overseas entities, including but not limited to GL preparation, standalone reports or consolidation reports issuance, and other FR related statutory filings.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Stay updated with overseas local regulations and ensure compliance with all local reporting and filing requirements. Liaise with external auditors and corporate secretaries and regulatory bodies as needed.
  Oversee the connection between accounting, financial reporting, and tax declarations, ensuring an understanding of their interrelations and overall compliance of regulatory requirements.
• Strategic Planning and Implementation:
  Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization, lead the strategic planning development and implementation
• Team Management:
  Continuously develop the skills and knowledge of the finance team, and provide tailored tasks to enhance team capabilities, driving overall team growth.
• Ad-hoc Duties:
  Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Group Accounting team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or any related field.
• For Finance Manager: Minimum 8-10 years of working experience, including experience in a professional firm and in-house financial, with experience in handling more comprehensive financial matters, financial reporting, and tax declarations.
• For Head of Finance: 10+ years of experience with demonstrated expertise in financial management, including senior leadership roles overseeing complex, multinational financial structures.
• Strong experience in handling complex financial transactions and comprehensive accounting operations.
• Proven ability to lead the standardization and automation of financial processes, particularly for overseas regulations.
• Experience in business planning, with a proven ability to lead and execute plans effectively.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing, as this role requires interacting with Chinese stakeholders.
• Familiarity with office software such as Excel, PPT; proficiency in BI, SQL, VBA, and other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong logical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities, self-motivation, responsibility, resilience.
• Effective communication and team management skills, with a focus on coordinating overseas operations and facilitating collaboration between headquarters and overseas entities.
