• Contribute to all phases of corporate finance transactions, from deal origination, research, idea generation, pitch book preparation, analysis and modelling, transaction structuring through to execution, documentation and deal closing
• Performing industry and company research as well as due diligence on transactions
• Performing valuation analysis, trading comparable and carry out precedent transaction analysis
• Conducting and coordinating due diligence work streams with independent third parties
• Building detailed financial models for valuation and benchmarking purposes as well as financial performance measurement
• Managing client relationships with portfolio of sponsored companies
• Working with sponsored companies on corporate actions, mergers and acquisitions and fund-raising exercises
• Reviewing corporate actions carried out by sponsored companies, including shareholder circulars, public announcements and press releases
• Advising directors and management on listing obligations, compliance and corporate governance matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree from a recognized university
• SGX Registered Professional and MAS CMS qualified will be advantageous
• Prior experience (5 years) in corporate finance or investment banking (debt / leveraged finance / structured credit background is particularly valued)
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
• Good analytical skills and proficient in financial modelling
• Advanced proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel will be advantageous
• Meticulous, strong team player with an inquisitive mind, excellent people skills, independent, reliable and highly adaptable to changes

1. Maintain a system of internal control over property assets, revenue & expenses.

Our client is creating a new and sustainable way of supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to Singapore and you'll be responsible for supports the Head of Finance in managing the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Key responsibilities include financial planning and analysis to optimize costs and improve efficiency, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements, and offering insights to guide business decisions. The Finance Manager collaborates with senior management on strategic planning, evaluates financial risks, and drives process improvements. Additionally, the role includes leading the finance team, ensuring tax compliance, maintaining internal controls, and managing relationships with auditors and financial stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with 5 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling.

Responsibilities:

• Performing independent valuation for complex financial instruments, businesses, tangible and intangible assets including derivatives and structured products (plain vanilla as well as exotics), equity and debt securities, for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax purposes, litigation and dispute support, restructuring, and financial advisory.
• Building and analysing financial models and assessing assumptions and data which underlie the model.
• Researching and monitoring industry best practices on valuation models and techniques to ensure that the valuation practice is in line with industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic background with a Master of Science in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, Computational Finance, or related degree. Professional qualification in accounting / FRM / CFA will be an added advantage.
• Ideally between 2 - 6 years’ valuation experience acquired with the valuation practice within an accounting, professional services firm or a bank. Experience in building and/or validating pricing models, valuations control, would be an added advantage.
• Strong grasp of quantitative finance, including models for equity, interest rates, FX, and credit, and valuation techniques including binomial trees and monte carlo simulation.
• Expertise in implementing valuation models for financial instruments in VBA or other programming languages is essential.
• Knowledge of business valuation and intangible asset valuation, discounted cash flow models, and trading and transaction multiples would be advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and Partners, and operate well within a team environment.

Key responsibilities:

Stakeholder Relationship Management

a. Acts as a trusted advisor for business for all new business demands requiring technology or operations enablement / solution

2. High Level Solutioning

b. Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams including business analysts, solution architect, business technology services teams, and testing teams to define/clarify requirements

c. Work with business technology services team on the smooth delivery of the solution

d. Review Test Scenarios, help plan and support the user acceptance testing and help address any issues. Ensures that there is a business perspective on how the new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.

e. Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies.

4. Managing RUN

a. Manage the communication and regular updates to business stakeholders on ‘critical’ production incidents and problems impacting customer and business operations

b. Regular review with business on system stability, responsiveness, production incident, problem tickets including identification of root cause.

c. Track for continuous improvement. Ensure early identification and resolution of challenges impacting BAU systems.

d. Monitoring the fulfilment of service levels between GTO and the business segments and highlighting required actions to close gaps where needed

5. Sustainable Improvements

a. Build a sustainable process for measuring benefits to ensure T&O resources are aligned to business initiatives which provide the highest ROI.
